+Jackie's POV+
"Star! I'm heading out!" I call to her. "Ok. Oh and take your time with things." I can see her smirk."I'm taking your scissors, and car keys so you can't go anywhere." I say as I head out the door.
Right before I close the door, I hear her mutter a 'damn you'.
I head into town looking around to see if any of the stores have what I'm looking for.
Ever since Star started drinking and cutting, I've been buying these pills that help her to not do those things. I manage to crush them up and sneak them into her food or drinks because she doesn't like taking them.
I looked down at my phone to find the address of the store. "Ugh where is it?" I mutter to myself.
I wasn't looking where I was going and I bumping into someone accidentally.
"I'm so sorry. I wasn't paying attention." The guy says. "No I'm sorry it was my faul-" I look up to see the guy I bumped into and my eyes widened.
"Um are you ok?" He asked rubbing the back of his neck. "Marco? Marco Diaz?" I question him. Even though he changed A LOT, his face still looked the same.
"Yes? How do you know my name?" He asks confused. "Does Jackie Lynn Thomas ring a bell?" I smile.
Now it was his turn to go wide eyed. "Jackie?! How are you? It's been so long. Do you know if Star is doing well?" He says smiling. "I'm good. But Star on the other hand, she's my roommate but she's a mess. She's drinking and she's cutting herself."
I say with a sad expression on my face. "Oh my god! Is she okay?!" He asks worried. "Well I managed to keep her alive for this long. And the reason she's doing all this is because she misses you and is upset you left all those years ago."
"I had no idea. And it's all my fault she's doing this." He looks like he's about to cry.
I put my hand on his shoulder reassuringly. "Hey it's not your fault. How about you come with me to my place and you see Star? I'm pretty sure it will be good on both ends." I say with a smile.
He gives a small nod before we head back home. I'll just get the pills later, this HAS to happen.
When we arrive at the house, I told him to just wait on the couch. "I'll go get Star." I walk to her room and knock on her door.
When I only a groan from the other side, I sigh and open it. "Star, we have a guest and I think you should go say hi. Especially since I think you'll be really happy to see that person." I give a small smile.
She groans before getting off her bed and heading into the living room. When I get in the living room, Star is just standing there frozen with wide eyes.
"Marco?" Was the only thing she said.
