A/N: Sooooo this is my first story ever so take it easy on me, but criticism is definitely wanted. All rights go to their prospective owners. Abby is the only character that is mine. Here it is I hope you enjoy Home.

I scanned through the endless sea of people trying to spot the one who was waiting on me. People were everywhere. They were boarding the planes and getting off of them. It was nearly impossible to pick out soemone in an airport as busy as this one. I kept standing on my tiptoes to look around, but my 5'6 frame wasn't helping. I had just about given up on finding my ride when I heard the sound of screaming girls.

I simply followed my ears and knew that I could find my brother that way, and sure enough there he was in the middle of a large crowd signing autographs and smiling for pictures. There were so many people there that the normal way to get through a crowd wasn't working so I figured if you can't beat em, join em.

The chorus of screaming girls was joined by another scream that was my own. I had to start jumping up and down and feigning fangirling. Soon enough I made it to where my brother was and I knew that he could hear me.

"OH MY GOD!!!!!" I shouted "it's Olly Murs! I can't believe it!! This is like my dream come true!!!!!!! Can I PLEASE get a picture with you?" Recognizing my voice, Olly turned around and beamed at me.

"Of course you can have a picture with me. Smile for Instagram." he said, whipping out his phone and snapping our picture.

"You have no idea how you have made my life!!! The only thing tthat could make this day any better is if you were David Tennant. Or Benedict Cumberbatch. Or Martin Freeman." I added.

"Ouch sis. That stung a bit." Olly picked up a few of my bags, put his arm around me and began to lead me away from the masses and out of the airport. Once we were in the car he decided to talk a little more freely. "So how's life across the pond Abs? "

"Fine, how's fame been treating you? "

"Fantastic! I love my job! Granted, I could live without all of the attention but I wouldn't give this up for anything. " he told me with a gleam in his eye. I was beyond proud of my big brother and all he had accomplished. I was easily his number one fan.

"I heard your new single on the radio the other day."

"Really? What'd you think? " Olly always valued my opinion when it came to his music because of my own musical talents. Olly had even asked me to help him write a couple of his songs.

"I love it!!! " I exclaimed jumping up and down in my seat as much as my seatbelt would allow " It truly is fantastic and is being received much better than Heart Skips A Beat was!"

"Good to know. So how is dear old daddy these days? "

"I wouldn't know. He's never around. He's always in Chicago or Seattle or some other big city."

"So it's just you in that huge house of yours?" he asked with concern.

"Yeah, but it's not a big deal. I can take care of myself and I've been going to community college here lately anyways." I told him to try to push his worries away. I may be 19 but Olly still feels the need to look after me.

"You know you could always perform. " Olly commented.

"Olly, you know I don't do that anymore and I won't start now." I turned him down.

"It's a lot more fun than being an engineer like Dad wants you to."

"I'm going to pretend that I already had my book out and was so engrossed in it that I didn't hear you trying to push me into performing again." I told him as I pulled out 'Water For Elephants', my most recent book purchase. I spent the rest of the drive to Olly's place with my nose in the book and I had almost finished it when I realized that we had stopped in front of an apartment complex, and a very nice one at that.

"Welcome to your new home Abby." Olly said as he grabbed a couple of my bags and began carrying them up towards his apartment. "Gah Abs what is in this bag? " he indicated towards a large leather cross body bag.

"That has my books in it." I reply with a smile.

"Ever thought of investing in one of those tablets for all your books? It would definitely cause you to pack lighter. "

"And get rid of the feeling of holding an actual book in my hand? Never!" I told him as I feigned insult.

When we reached Olly's apartment I was completely shocked at how.clean and well decorated it was. Never in a million years would I have thought that my brother was a tidy person. The apartment was huge with a spacious living room, equally large kitchen, and three bedrooms each with a bathroom attached to it. This wasn't anywhere close to the size of my home back in Tennessee, but it was perfect in every way.

"Olly, your apartment is fantastic! " I exclaimed, dropping my bags in the entryway.

"Abby, around here it's called a flat and yes I suppose it is rather nice. " I began turning where I stood to take in the full view, but I had only taken a few steps before my view became that of the hardwood floor of Olly's living room. I had managed to get one of my boots wrapped in the strap of by book bag that Olly had sat down causing me to trip. It sent the popstar next to me into a fit of laughter.

"Ya know, some days I hate you." I joked.

Let me go show you your room so you can get settled and get some rest. I hope you like it. Based on your personality I think you will." he led me down a hallway where my room was the absolute last door. When the door was opened my eyes went wide in excitement because Olly had created the perfect room for me.

The walls were grey with a white trim and on the walls hung framed record sleeves. I recognized them all to be great 80's bands : Metallica, Pink Floyd, Bon Jovi, and Def Leppard decorated my room. My bedding was purple, my favorite color, and I had a huge Tv mounted on the wall with some of my favorite movies stacked high right beside it, but my favorite thing was the huge white bookshelf.

"Olly this room truly is perfect for me. Thank you so much! " I thanked him and gave him a huge hug.

"No problem Abs. Now you enjoy, but get some rest because jet lag blows " he said closing my door behind him as he left.

Now that I was alone in my room I went and threw myself onto the bed, flicked on the Tv and popped in The Breakfast Club so I could watch it as I unpacked. I fell asleep just as the credits rolled.
