I woke up to the sound of beeps. The streets were filled with motorcycles all day everyday. I don't really see how anyone can get up this early to ride, but the guys on the streets did.

I rolled over onto my back and let out a big sigh. I had been sleeping on this old fold out army cot for three nights now, and my back was sore.

Sometimes I'd like to think that it was my workouts on the wooden floors that caused this pain, but it wasn't. I always made sure my workouts were done right.

I usually would wake up on a nice big bed with silky sheets and about four pillows, but ever since I decided to go out on my own things changed.

I forced myself up out of bed. The minute my feet touched the cold floor I sighed again. This apartment was cold. The heating system was not the best, but I could survive. I bought this tiny apartment with my own money. I saved up the money from my part time job in California. Mom and Dad offered to pay for an apartment for me, but I declined. Before they offered to pay for it they begged me not to go, but I never caved.

The thought of my mom and dad made me a bit upset. We had gotten into a huge argument before I left. They didn't mind me leaving, it was just the reason why I was leaving that made them angry. They did not support what I wanted to do with my life, but I hope they'll come around soon.

I did a nice long stretch with a yawn before heading off to the kitchen to make my breakfast, Lucky Charms. I grabbed a little blanket off a wooden stool by my bed, and wrapped myself in it. Heading off to the kitchen I thought about where I could go for my training.

After about a couple of steps I was in the kitchen. I grabbed a bowl, filled it with cereal, filled it with milk, then dipped a big spoon in with it. I plopped myself down at a tiny table in the living room and began gobbling down my cereal.

I was excited to go out into the town. Exploring was a hobby of mine. It was such a big hobby of mine that I would get in trouble for it. When I was 13 I convinced my bestfriend Lucas to explore a candy factory with me. We snuck in through a bathroom window after closing time. We thought our plan was harmful until we borrowed some candy and was got on the cameras.

I'm still that way now, just a bit smarter. I liked exploring everything. The woods, stores, cities, just about anything there was to explore. Mom did not like it because I would spend my time going away than staying with her. She thought spoiling me would make us have a better relationship but she was wrong. Dad did not pay that much attention to me. He tried so hard to run my life sometimes, but his attention was mainly on his music empire.

Yeah I missed them though. I missed Lucas. I missed my teachers from highschool. I did not miss my friends all that much. Even though they were not actually my friends. They liked me for my money and power. The power was meeting famous stars, knowing famous people, etc. I did not use that power though. I could have, but I just left that power to my dad. He was all about the celebrities and music industry. He tried to get me to meet them, be a star, but I was not interested.

Lucas was my only true friend. He never turned his back on me. He liked me for me. We had been bestfriends since 5th grade. Even though he was a boy he still got to spend the night. I never had any other friend come over to do anything. Not to spend the night, not to celebrate birthdays, nothing like that. My friends were fake. Except Lucas.

Knock!

I turned my head at the door. I stared at it for a few minutes until I heard the second knock. That was odd. I haven't met any new people yet so who could be knocking on my door at 5:14 in the morning? I slowly got up. I walked to the door slowly, and opened it.

Standing on the other side was a boy leaning with his head down in the door way. I look at him as he still kept his head down. "Yeah?"

He glanced up. I could believe my eyes as I saw the guy from the party with a pure black cheekbone."hey".

"Hey" I replied with no emotion.

He stared at me for a minute or two. "Look I came to apologize about the party. Things got a little out of control."

"Okay" I said shutting the door.

•MATTHEWS POV•

She did not just shut the door in my face

I knocked on the door once again and once again she opened it barely. "I'm Matthew" I spoke nicely.

She stared at me for a moment. I could tell she was not that fond of me. Especially after last night.

"Hadley" she softly replied still with her emotionless face.

I stared at her for a moment. I could tell she was young. She looked at twenty or nineteen, possibly eighteen. She had blonde barley curly hair with fierce eyes. Although her eyes must have just been her facial expression.

"Well Haldey are you new to Philly?" I asked.

"Yep" she simply reply still with her emotionless face.

Dang she is hard to carry on a conversation with

I knew exactly what would loosen her up. I decided to turn on the charm. "Well Hadley, want me to take you out. Show you around a bit?" I asked with my sexy smirk along with a lip bite.

I have her right where I want her

"Nope" she responded swinging the door closed in my face.

My cocky smile disappeared. I couldn't believe she didn't fall for my smirk. That gets all the girls. "

"Dang you really are a b****" I mumbled walking away.
