Broken Dreams

Chapter 2

" Winter its time to go!!!!!"

" Im coming mom jeez!!" It was Friday night I was going to play a tournament saturday morning but it was out of the state. Ugh long drives really make me tired but i still love travelling.

I picked up my tennis bag and headed out the door and loaded everything into the car. My brother who was two years older than me was also going because he had a tournament too.

In the car as I listened to my ipod I fell asleep. The crowd cheering wildly. The gun shot. Me falling. My dreams always ended up like this. Why cant i dream about nice things like rainbows and cookies. Except this time there was something a bit different.

As I was falling I saw someone trying to grab my hand as if they were trying to save me. But the face wasnt clear. I remebered seeing bright blue eyes and dirty blonde hair and the hand reaching out was tan. As i woke up breathing hard my brother gave me a look. " Wierdo " he muttered.

I scrunched my eyebrows at him and turned to the window. Who was that guy? I mean Ive had this dream so many times but this is the first time that something different happened in it.

" We are almost there guys" My dad said while driving. Oh well i brushed it off and got ready for my match.

When we got to the courts me and my brother warmed up together. Even thought my brothers really really good he still practices with me so I appreciate that.

The loud speaker came on above us " All competiters girls group 16 and boys group 18 please make your way to the front desk. "

They were gonna announce our draws so me and my bro headed to the desk. As we were waiting I noticed all the girls giggling and staring at one of the guys standing in the corner. Oh please these girls. I looked over to see a well built tall guy with bright blue eyes and dirty blonde hair. Woah. Ive seen this guy before. There is no way...... He was the one from my dream.
