I smile as I look up into his gorgeous blue eyes, breathing heavily after what had just happened. He smiles back with pearly white teeth breathing a little heavily himself. He leans down and starts kissing my neck. I smile and make small noises as he does, his lips warm against my skin, sending chills down my spine. My smile drops when I feel something sharp brush against my skin, but he doesn't stop kissing me. He kisses my neck again and again, then pain surges through my body, mainly my neck.
His teeth are sunken into my neck, and I can feel the life slipping away from me. I scream loudly, then everything goes black. I hear the sound of my alarm and then wake up to find myself sweating and breathing hard. I turn off my alarm quickly and put my feet on the wooden floor. I wipe the sweat away from my forehead taking a deep breath. I stand up after about a minute or so and I walk into my bathroom.
I look at myself in the mirror. My light brown hair is in knots and my light tan is gone and makes me look pasty, which I hate. I also have dark circles under my emerald green eyes. I take a deep breath and shut the bathroom door, lock it, and take a quick shower, getting out about fifteen minutes later.
I put on a dark red t-shirt and capris and comb out my hair then blow dry it. I brush it out after brushing my teeth and then I walk downstairs and into the kitchen. My father is sitting at the table reading the newspaper. I smile and I kiss his cheek. “Good morning, sweetheart,” he says kindly smiling, taking a sip of his coffee. “Morning Daddy,” I say smiling at him and fix myself a glass of orange juice and take a sip of the sweet, sourish liquid. I smile, “Well, I'm going to school, have fun at work,” I say smiling drinking another sip of the orange juice and then kissing his cheek and walking out of the door to my R8 Audi Spyder, getting in and drive to school.
The ride is short and I pull into the parking lot. My best friend, Ashley, isn't here yet, although I do see Will. I get out of my car and grab my black and hot pink zebra stripped shoulder bag and step out of my car. I sit casually on the back of my car waiting on Ashley. “Hey,” I say to Will as he passes me. He doesn't say anything and just keeps walking. Yup, he is still mad about our break-up.
I take a deep breath, the only reason we broke up is because of what happened. I told him that I broke up with him because he wasn't my type, which, technically is true. I glance around the parking lot and find the familiar face of Jason James. His lips are in a smile and his green eyes focused on mine. “What the hell are you doing here, Jason?” I ask getting up from the back of my car looking at him.
“I don't have to explain myself to you, probie,” he says looking at me smiling. I basically earned the title 'probie' because I was new, which you get use to.
I roll my eyes and glare at him. “Jason, tell me, what are you doing here?” I ask more firmly this time. He takes a deep breath, “Well, if you must know probie, I'm here to make sure you don't snap, make sure you're under control, and, to meet the Chosen One,” he says his smile growing. “Jason, you have orders not to go near her, don't get her involved, not yet,” I say looking at him and into his green eyes.
I'm just now noticing his hair, dirty blonde and partially messy styled, which works for him. “Last time I checked you aren't my boss, Alexandra,” he says smiling and turns on his heel and walks away. I shake my head in frustration and lean back against my car. Ashley arrives about three minutes later. Her car pulls up and I walk over to her car and wait for her to get out smiling.
“Hey,” I say as I come up to her. “Hey,” she responds, her beautiful blue eyes looking around. Her hair is up in a ponytail and she is wearing a blue long-sleeve shirt that brings out her eyes and blue jeans. Although something about her is off. “What's wrong?” I ask sensing something wrong. “Nothing, it's just Michael, he was acting a little strange and upset this morning,” she says avoiding my gaze, and I know she isn't telling me the complete truth, but I don't push it. “Well get happy, because I'll talk to Michael for you,”I say in my usually preppy way, although I regret those words as soon as they leave my mouth.
