We ran for what seemed to be forever. Jacob ended up carrying me because I couldn't walk anymore. We stopped to sleep in a park and jacob sat me down. " jacob, I have something to tell you." I was shaking because I didn't want to tell him the real reason my parents died.

"What is it Victoria?" I started crying and he hugged me. "Its ok Victoria, I promise not to judge you babe." My heart fluttered at the pet name.

" my parents didn't die in a car crash. When we were sleeping....the dream I had was what actually happened. My parents died from what killed Jeffrey. That wasnt your parents. I was a z-zombie. They were doing experiments and the zombie killed my mom first. My dad ran down stares and whipped my memory and made me think they died from a car crash. When that thing showed up and killed Jeffrey, I remembered what happened." His breath hitched and he just kept holding me while I cried.

"Then we need to find somewhere to hide. I-I cant loose you Victoria. I love you." He grabbed my face and kisses me. I was shocked but kissed him back. We pulled away.

"I love you too jacob" I hugged him and he picked me up and grabbed the backpacks and he kept walking and softly singing my favorite song. ( sad song by we the kings)

We found an abandoned hotel and decided to stay there. "We need to lock the doors, victoria. Go into a room while I lock the doors ok" He kisses my cheek.

"B-but what if there is one in a bedroom that I happen to open? I don't want to die" I hug jacob and he sighs. He picks me up and carries me with him to go and lock all the doors.

We chose a bedroom and closed and locked the door. Jacob sits me on the bed. "You can have the bed. I'll sleep on the floor." I shake my head and wrap him in a hug.
