The first words I thought we shared

Waking up in the morning is an absolute, total, bitch. There was a loud bang as my door flew open, and flying out with it went my beauty sleep and my lie in.

"Cammy, get your ass out the door, right now!" Lilly the unfortunate human I call my best friend screamed right into my ear. I repeat, screamed.

"Was that necessary?" I groaned clamping the pillow over my head to cover my poor now damaged ears.

"Yes because you're lazy as hell, and it's the only way you'll learn." She shouted once again this time tugging my blanket off me along with my pillow, exposing me to the outside world.

I rolled off my bed in agony and walked over to my wardrobe muttering curse words as she sat in my warm bed scrolling down her phone. I pulled out a pair of black jeans and a cropped jumper, forcefully placing them on my body internally crying.

Dragging my feet extra loud so Lilly could hear my aggravation I walked into my toilet and took in the horrendous sight in the mirror.

My long sandy blonde hair had dried over night in the form of a lions mane and the hairbrush I was attempting to tame it with was doing nothing but getting stuck. I had slight bags under my almond shaped brown eyes that I could thankfully manage to cover. Putting on a minimal amount of makeup to take the attention away from my hair and brushing my teeth, I then put on my shoes and tugged Lilly out of the door, forgetting breakfast.

"You have a terrible case of after sex hair honey." Lilly said laughing at my lions mane. I shot her a glare as we walked over to her red mini.

"The only thing that got laid last night Lilly, was my head on my pillow." I snapped at her whilst she continued laughing at me. I must have missed the funny bit in this.

I was not a morning person.

Looking over to Lilly she looked like she walked out of a magazine her brown wavy long hair was perfectly styled and her blue eyes were twinkling with excitement.

WHY IS SHE EXCITED TO GO TO SCHOOL?

Lilly was much taller than me, and much slimmer, whilst I was shorter and on the curvier side, and definitely didn't have that model look in the morning, far from it.

"Why do you look so excited Lilly it makes me want to strangle you." I grumbled to her whilst she drove the car humming to the music playing.

"Because I had bacon for breakfast and I'm having a good morning, lighten up." She said full of joy as we pulled up to the school parking lot after a ten minute drive filled with her enthusiasm.

"Well you know what, I didn't get any bacon Lilly, so excuse me if I'm not a light bulb right now"

Stepping out of it I noticed a familiar smile heading my way, Josh.

Josh was my boyfriend that I had been dating for a few months now, he was a bundle of yumminess. He had ocean blue eyes and tanned skin that contrasted with his blonde hair.

"Now my morning is ruined" Lilly said looking at Josh. Let's just say she wasn't a fan of him, he used to be the player of the school and she seems to think he hasn't changed, even though I know he has.

"Its been months Lilly, when will you stop hating his guts" I groaned to her as she stared at him with a disgusted expression plastered on her face, scanning him up and down as if her bacon was about to rise up her throat.
