It's been a while since your outburst on eridan. You didn't mean to text him that, you were just irritated. You secretly hoped that it wouldn't've been him. If it was karkat that had to deal with it, he'd actually know why.
You remember the conversation clearly, and you regret every word.

You checked the name, and of course, it wasn't eridan. Why does he have to text me now?! Why didn't he text me earlier so I didn't have to say that awful shit to eridan?!

I rushed to get dressed, putting on mis-matched socks, my shirt on backwards, and grabbing some slippers. Unfortunately, your car had no gas. Great. So instead, you ran.The hospital, thankfully, wasn't to far from your apartment. It was two miles or so away.

Your running turned into a bursted sprint, then to a jog. The length of the run gives you a bit of time to think. Him doing that... was surely your fault. Even if it wasnt, it is now.

It had started raining, and your jog slowed to a fast walk. You had to be about ten minutes away by now. You kinda wished that you had gone to the gym more. Your endurance is really shitty.

You remember all the moments you had spent with eridan, and remember every little detail.

~time: around half a sweep ago (human time: 1 and a half years ago)~

"Hey sol, everyone's going to the movies and they said that I'd need someone to go wwith. So... I choose you."
At the time, I thought he was trying to pull me into some double-date or something. So I pushed him away...

~ a few months later from then

"Hey eriidan, what do you thiink of Kan and nep2 new year2 party?"
"It's pretty good. But you knoww wwhat wwould make it better?" "Fiirewwork2!!"
Just then, some fireworks exploded in the air, with a magnificent display of all the zodiac signs.

That was probably the best fireworks show I've ever Fucking seen. I wish me and eri could do that again.

~a week later from then~

"Sol. Sol. Sol. Sol! You havve to play this game wwith me."
"Ii diidnt know that you liiked playing game2"
"Wwhale... I dont, but I wwanted to play this with you."

Playing that was fun... I knew then that he had feelings for me, but now..?
