Bella And Jacob or Edward

Chapter 1

Chapter 1:

I've been spending a lot of time with Jacob lately. I've been seeing him more than Edward. But we're just friends. And I love Edward, I think.

Today I went to go see Jacob, again. I like being with him. We have a sort of connection that Edward will never understand.

"Hey Bells!" Jacob ran and hugged me. "I didn't expect to see you."

"Yeah well, I had nothing better to do." I sighed.

"What's wrong Bella, I know there's a reason why you're here."

Jacob was right. There was a reason. That's what part of our connection is. We know each other. I just wish he knew what was wrong.

"Bella, you can tell me." Jacob put his hand on my shoulder and looked me in the eye.

"Um..nothing. I don't know, its stupid forget about it. I just.....forgot." I lied, and he could tell but he just shook it off.

"Okay what would you like to do then?" Jacob said awkwardly due to my terrible lying skills.

"Let's just walk." I suggested heading to my truck.

We drove to La Push barely talking at all during the ride there. I couldn't help but think about my secret. The problem was, I couldn't tell Jacob or Edward and they are the people I trust the most but it involves them.

Jacob and I got out of the truck just then and continued walking silently until be got onto the beach.

"Bella, this week has been awesome. I love spending my days with you." Jacob smiled this sincere smile that made me blush.

"Yeah, me too. You're fun to be around." I said in a glum voice.

Jacob looked at me and stopped walking. I then tripped over my shoe and Jacob caught me in a way that looked kinda like he was dipping me.

We stared at each other for a moment still in that position until he slowly brought me back onto my feet. Our arms were still wrapped around each other.

"Bella, you really have to watch where you're going." He laughed.

I smiled and before I can stop myself I leaned in and kissed him. After a moment, Jacob pulled away.

"Bella. This isn't right. No matter how much I hate saying this I have to."

I stared at him confused.

"Bella you're with Edward!! You love him don't you!? He doesn't deserve to be cheated on! Bella what's wrong with you? What's going on!!?" Jacob yelled at me like I was miles away from him.

I started to tear up. "I know. I'm just messed up. I don't know how to feel anymore!" I didn't know what to say.

"Bella, do you love him?" Jacob asked me in a soft voice.

"I-I-I don't know." I whispered.

Jacob sighed. "Tell him Bella. About what you did and how you feel."

I looked up to meet his gaze and nodded. I then got into my truck and drove to the Cullen's house.
