I'm often worse at picking out spelling mistakes, so usually for everyone that's my first note, it happens to all of us. If anyone at any point is unsure of how to spell a word, check auto correct, or try typing your version of the word into Google, definitely a huge help.
Spaces after each sentence should be watched, and for the capitalization of an 'i'.
If you're going to start a sentence with an and first see if the rest of the sentence could work without it, if it can you can erase it, but if it doesn't you can keep it.
I thought the scenes were really face paced and thought Alice should have spent more time looking for a painting, because her excitement flew easily around the pages. I did love her excitement when she realized there was going to be an art contest, and how involved she seemed. Perhaps in further chapters you could give us an illusion around her room, filled with paint brushes, half finished paintings, easels, charcoal and pastel, open paint tunes, to further her excitement for her love of art.
