"WHAT!" Jeremiah yelled at Jacqueline. He grabbed her shoulders and pushed her against the wall, "WHAT ELSE HAVE YOU HEARD!" He demanded.
"Dude!" I screamed at him, that looked like it really hurt Jacqueline.
"TELL ME!" He repeated.
Jacqueline gave him an angry look then all of a sudden she disappeared. Jeremiah backed away in surprised.
Then Jacqueline appeared behind him and pushed him into the wall. "Do that to me again and I will smash your head into the wall, got it?" She threatened in a low voice that contrasted with the extremely girly one she used before.
Jeremiah's jaw clenched but he still managed to nod. Jacqueline let him go before placing her hands on her hips.
"Well from what I've heard the whole kingdom of Jenatoba thinks that you're dead or worse, that the Queen was able to force you into marriage." She took a moment to shudder then continued, "Your father was able to contact me as a last resort; he told me to do my best to find you because no one wants Cedric as high wizard."
"He said that? About Cedric?" Jeremiah asked in awe.
"Well...not in those exact words, but it was sort of implied." She explained. Jacqueline noticed my presence and took a step closer to me with curiosity etched into her face.
"Who's she? A girlfriend?" She gasped as she poked me in the rib.
"Well her name is Ava and she rather get thrown into the Ghidora's chamber before dating Jeremiah." I snorted.
"What! And deny this cutie?" She asked before disappearing then reappearing next to Jeremiah.
"Why don't you date him then?" I shot back.
Jacqueline's smile dropped off her face. "Okay, once you see a guy drunkenly pee your face on a log it kind of puts him in the friend zone." She told me.
"Two things!" Jeremiah yelled interrupting us. "One: That was once Jacqueline so get over it; two: we need to find a way out of here before they put Ava into that death chamber."
"Considering the fact that I'm human and the only possible thing I could do in this situation is try to survive by drinking my own urine, which I refuse to do by the way, I suggest you two come up with something." I told them in a matter-of-fact voice.
"Your human?" Jacqueline asked in shock.
"Yes." I replied in a duh tone.
Her eyes went wide before I could finish. "By the great wizard- You could totally help us out!" She yelled in happiness.
"I'm not following. How can I help you?" I questioned confused while Jeremiah rolled his eyes.
"I should've thought of that." He mumbled.
Jacqueline held her palm out to me while bouncing in her spot. "Let me see your hand." She demanded excited.
Rolling my eyes I thrust my palm out towards her. Jacqueline then took my hand into her own and began to stare intently at my palm. What was she doing? Reading my future?
I started to feel a sharp pain across the center of my palm then as if someone was dragging an invisible knife across my hand, my skin began to split.
"What are you- That is a lot of b-blood coming out." I stammered. Truthfully I was never good with blood; I could feel the room spinning already.
Jacqueline then yanked me towards the cell wall roughly.
"W-what's going on?" I asked in a breathy tone. I'm serious I'm about to pass out.
