Won't let you go

It was a normal day in the life of the Scandinavian men who were on a ship in the middle of the Baltic Sea. The ship's captain, Mathias, was planning a raid somewhere in Russia while his friends and crew-mates where doing whatever they liked doing. They have been at sea for months and Mathias wasn't planning to stop anytime soon. Berwald, the ships second in command, was talking to Tino about this. Tino was someone very important to Berwald. Tino was a young man who looked for adventure and found it on his friends Mathias's ship. Next to the Bewald and Tino were the newest recruits, Lukas and Emil. Lukas and Emil were found in a village that had burned to the ground and the trio took them in to go with them.
"I don't see why we don't go back" Berwald whispered to Tino "we have more than enough gold."
Tino just shrugged indicating he didn't know. "I want to go home too Ber, but maybe Mathias is making sure we each get the same amount of gold for all of us"  Tino simply said casting a look at the newest recruits.
"Still...I don't th-" Berwald was cut off with a 'BANG'. Mathias came out of his quarter and looked to the east of him. There was a rival ship.
