Marley's POV:
2 Days Ago:
"I told you not to leave! I told you to stay here!" he yells shoving me to the ground.
"I'm sorry!" I scream. "I'm sorry!" I scream sobbing now.
Present:
"You need to get out," My best friend Skylar says.
"How? You know how he gets when I try to go anywhere." I say with a sigh.
"Yeah I know, but you need it." Skylar says pulling out her phone. "I'm going to look up things to do around here."
"Please. I'm okay. I don't need to go anywhere." I say trying to get her to put her phone away.
With a raised eyebrow she says "Honey, you are not okay."
"I know." I say looking down at my shaking hands.Skylar continues looking at her phone while I search for the courage to tell her that the Mets, whom I desperately love, play tomorrow night.
"There's a Met's game tomorrow night." I say barely over a whisper.
Skylar looks up and tilts her head. "Is that where you want to go?"
"Yeah" I say with a smile.
He's gonna kill me. I can't go to the Mets game. I can't leave without his permission. He's gonna kill me when I get back home.
"You ready to go Mar?" Skylar yells from outside my door.
"Yeah, yeah. Just give me a minute!" I yell back.
I do one last glance in the mirror and I stop myself.
"Who're you trying to impress huh?" I ask myself.
"Marley! Let's go!" Skylar yells getting aggravated now.
"I'm coming!" I yell opening the door.
"Woah. You look hot." Skylar says looking at me.
"Oh shut up. Let's go." I say jogging to the car.
"To the Mets game we go! Whoo!" Skylar says jumping into the drivers seat.I haven't been this excited in months.
