(Unedited)
The thing about memories, is that you can't forget them. You can't forget them, even if you want to forget them. I hold more bad memories than good, and oh how much I want to forget some of them. But I never will. The more you live, the more memories you make, so why live at all? I don't know the answer to the question, I'm sorry, I wish I did. I don't even know why we have to live. Just to suffer? Or learn a thing or two, perhaps? Again, I wish I knew the answer to that question.
Another thing, if we all know we are going to die in the end- that everything we ever accomplish in life will be forgotten- then why are we here? Why do we live every single damn day? I've heard the saying "you never know when you time runs out, so live in the moment!"
There's another use of that word. Time. Such a controlling thing.
But never mind, like I was saying, if we all know that we're going to die one day, why do we even live? People say if humans could read the future, we would have nothing to live for, and in a sense, that is very true, but at the same time, we do know what's going to happen. We'll die. We don't know when, but we do know it's coming.
I just don't understand, why do we even have to die in the first place? Maybe one day I'll know the answer to that.• • •
Years. It's been years. Not Shione or Allhine years, or some other species year's, or light years. No. It's been Cioplas years. Human years. My years.
Eight years, to be exact. I wasn't living for much, I was living for something though. So as I sit at a table, cirrounded, by Mazite, I became enraged. This isn't the first time I've woken up in a random space traveler. But last time it was with a few Jallione, a species who don't hate Humans with a strong passion. In fact, Jallione don't have that much of a problem with Humans, they are the closeted species to us. All though they are different.
* Small descriptive of Jallione, Mazite, Allhine*
Jallione (Hale-ei-one)
Jalliones have human - like bodies, very similar in that way, the main difference is that their bodies can withstand far more physical challenges. They're brain capacity reaches almost 40%! (Humans actually only use 10% or less!) With this increase in mental capability, they can do different things that a few other species cannot. Paranormal things; perhaps you may think of it as magical abilities. Another thing, Jalliones spirits don't resonate inside of their bodies, instead they have rings ( like the rings of Jupiter), two larger rings around their waist, one around each leg, two around each arm, and a halo like ring above their head. Those rings all hold pieces of their spirit, making it hard for them to die. They have to protect these rings with every thing they have.Mazite (maz-ite)
Mazites come in all different forms, so its hard to describe them. They're brain capacity is about 35%, making them quite intelligent, but not the most intelligent of all the species. They can do a few paranormal things (like levitation, or flight) but that's about it. They come in different forms because they are shape shifters; Morphers, is the translation from their native language (Mazitishlione, [maz-it-leash-li-one] to English, and other languages.Allhine (all-hi-ne)
Allhine are very intelligent, but their brain capacity is unknown. Many rumours are that its over 100%! But not all believe that's possible. Their bodies are commonly very thin and lean. They're quite tall.*End of description*
I think of myself as fairly intelligent. Yes, I'm only Human, and my species is the second least intelligent, but I myself, as a single, seem quite smart. But, sitting here in this room, with these Mazites I feel very low.
I can speak many alien languages, not super well, but throughout my life I've had to learn a bit. Mazitishlione consists of sounds that humans can't make. Mazite have three pairs of vocal chords, Humans only have one. Mazite can speak English, but that's not what I speak best. I speak the most common Human language: Asinelo. (As-seen-a-loe)
My parents were very educated, and could speak very good English, they tried to teach some to me too, but I just couldn't pick it up before they.. Well, you know what happened to them...Oh, I don't think I mentioned this, but all of us were sitting around a circular table, the rest were sitting freely, of course, but I was bound by my legs, and arms, and waist, to the hovering chair. I have been staying quiet, just listening and trying to pick up a few words, and I did. The words: destroy, Human female, animal, dead and Zahora, (which is The Mazite home planet.)
"Acej aportdchu qjebken," (get rid of the Cioplas animal and bring the Human to Zahora), my eyes widened at those words. And finally my silence shattered, "huvd! Huvd! yushi huvd!" (No! No! Please no!) I cried out in Mazitishlione. My voice has changed too. The oddly shaped bodies of the Mazites all turned to me, and I felt my heart beat. I've seen Mazite kill with a single glare, and Humans weren't exactly their favourite species. I'm sure all of these Mazite wouldn't mind turning me into a Wanderer. There must be a reason to why they've kept me alive for eight Cioplas years. Even though eight years for me in only about four Cioplas months to them, that's still a long while. In Zahora only two Colours have happened.
On Cioplas we have five seasons: the Cold, the Fallen, the Rise, the Simmer, and the Gone, and twelve months. Every planet seems to be different, they all work differently. Cioplas is the only planet that uses years and months to decide things. On Zahora they have Colours, or "Achiplato" (a-chi-ip-lato) as they say it in Mazitishlione. For Mazite, the Colour mean what Cioplas civilians would call "seasons". It's different though. How we measure it, is that for every four months on Cioplas, two Colours go by, which some think of as two months, but that not quite it. The Colours happen when the Ten Great Stars of Zahora meet in unison and blow up, causing a chemical reaction with the atmosphere of Zahora. This causes the sky to change colour, thus the name Colour.
"Ugndh suqv?! ypq inmwkl ivcosh?!" (what do you want with me?! Why have to sustained my life force?!) I stammered, struggling against the invisible material that bound me. "Don't try.. To free your body, Human," the commander spoke to me in English, I became surprised. "What do you wish to earn from capturing a Human girl?" I pushed, desperately wanting to know the answer.
The Mazites around the table all leaned in, closer in my direction, some changing their shape, but all doing so in curiosity. Only the commander spoke, this time in Mazitishlione "Anicu..." (Human...)
Fear bubbled inside me, but I didn't let it show. "Take the Human to the Water, and do not disturb the Human until we reach Zahora," the commander ordered, leaving my question to wander through open air, untouched. Two Mazite stood from their seats and appeared at my side.
Soon, I was back in that water tank, completely unconscious.••• ••• •••
And I'm back. The Author of this extremely confusing book that makes no sense! Sorry for making the ending of this chapter so shitty, but I felt that a good place to end, and a good place to start for chapter five :). I'm not loving the current title of this book, so, I would LOVE it if you guys, the readers, could send in title suggestions! I'll mention the username of whoever gives the best title!
Thank you for reading my book, I hope you like it so far. What's going to happen next? Hmm... Keep reading to find out!
