I graoned as a burst of light hit my eyes."Alec.Why must you wake me up so early in the morning."I moaned as i sat up."Well for one thing mistress if know you which i do so well you would over sleep then end up rushing to every one of your appointments and end up going to bed late only to repeat the same thing all over again the next day"She said.I huffed.I hate it when she's right."Now now miss we don't want you to be late for your appointment this morning now do you?"Alec pointed out.I nodded.
Ten Minutes later
Alec and i were in a carriage going through the country to the phantomhive manor.I stared out the window while alec did the same.I guess it was a beautiful day.The sun was shining brightly and the wind was rustling through the trees."Miss we're here"Alec said.I snapped out of the trance i was in."Oh"I said.I stepped out of the carriage after alec.Before we made it to the door it opened to reveal sebastian,ciel's butler.He bowed."Welcome miss alice,alec"He said.I smiled."Good morning sebastian"I replied.Alec did the same."Please follow me"He said,and alec and i followed.He lead us up the familiar stairs through the halls to ciel's game room where the dukes and earls from the other companies were gathered.Everyone was there including Lady red and Lord lau.

"Good morning everyone"I said cheerily.A chorus of goodmornings came from everyone,well excluding ciel.It seems as though everyone was playing pools except for lau and lady red.I sat beside the two and watched the game proceed.The other lords played their turns while discussing about their shipment supplies,though ciel did keep on passing up his turn.I guessed that he wanted to get all in one strike.My assumption was right.He did get all the remaining balls into holes.Nice.Ciel had won the game.Sebastian came in with a tray of delicacies.I didn't take any because i had already eaten back at my house."Excuse me miss volterra but would you please follow me to my office?"Ciel asked.I curtsied."Of course lord phantomhive."I said."Oh and sebastain please bring a pie to my office."Ciel said.Sebastian bowed."Yes young master"He said.I followed ciel out of the room with ciel.As soon as i walked through the door someone quickly covered my mouth and nose with a rag dabbed in some sweet smelling substance.I quickly recognised it as chlorofoam."Damn" I muttered.
A few hours later
I moaned as i woke up."So you've finally woken up.The queen's midnight asassin has finally decided to wake up."Someone said menacingly.My eyes widened.
