Dear Diary

Entry #1

Today I woke up kind of late to school, but thank god I caught the bus in time. Kella my best friend saved me a seat and Noah my boyfriend did also. I decided to sit with Noah and promised to sit with Kella getting dropped off. I love being at school with my friends and I just love learning in all. I got there and went to LA, my first class and we started reading Flowers For Algernon. A story of a man that wanted to be more intelligent and was expiremented on and did accomplish his goal, but it soon backfired to him going back to his original state. Charlie was his name. It was very sad to read. In the end it was inferred that he might die because of the experiments. No, we didn't read the whole book but like always I'm ahead and I read it by second to last period. On the bus I sat by Kella and went home where both of my parents made an amazing dinner full of my favorite things. My mom is a lawyer and my dad is police officer. I also have a younger brother Nate. Back to Flowers For Algernon. I was inspired to keep this journal to tell my progress through the year. I want to write in it every day for the rest of the year and see my progress.. Well this was day 1... Hope this goes well..
