Straubs P.O.V

Don't freak out, don't act weird, don't freak out, don't act weird.
I repeated those words in my head as I watched Stacy and her friend walk over to my car. I got out of the car to get open the trunk and to greet them. I hugged Stacy and tried not to blush. She introduced me to her new friend Clare and she asked if she and some others could stay at my place. Of course I said yes, I'd do anything to make Stacy happy. I started reverse when suddenly a girl walked out behind my car out of no where. I hit into her and immediately stopped and got out of the car. Stacy jumped out and gasped at the girl who was massaging her head and wincing in pain.

"Holy shit, are you okay?!'" I asked. She looked up at me and her odd blue eyes bored into my soul. I shivered and she smirked.

"Yeah, I just got hit by a car... I'm fine," She said sarcastically, rolling her eyes.

"Oh thank god!" Stacy exclaimed and the girl face palmed.

"It was sarcasm, idiot. No I'm not okay, I have a raging headache!" She hissed and groaned in pain. I was speechless, she had light brown/gold hair with a few curls. She had a grey beanie, well it was on the ground beside her. I picked it up and brushed off the dirt. There was a pair of glasses next to them so I picked them up too and handed them to her.

"Thanks," she said and placed her beanie on her head.

"Y-you're welcome..." I said stuttering and I blushed. Why am I acting like this?!

"Well, the least you can do is let me stay a night at where ever you're staying because my ride just left." She said angrily, fixing her crooked glasses. She swore as one of her black nails broke. I awoke from my daydream and snapped back into reality.

"Um... Sure! Is that alright with you Stacy?" I asked.

"Yeah, it's your apartment, not mine." She said, nodding.

She grinned and held out her hand. I stared it puzzled for a second and then realised she wanted me to help her up, my hand sparked when I touched hers but I just ignored it and pulled her up. When I pulled her up she fell forward... Onto me. Out of instinct I grasped her waist to secure her and I tried to move but I had seemed to freeze. I tried to speak but no words came out.

"I-I-I u-uhm I-... My names Mitchell but everyone calls me Straub," I blurted out.

"Mines Max. Nice to meet you Mitchell," She said and she hugged me.

"N-nice to meet you too."

"Come on!!" Darcy shouted from the car.

"Coming!" I called and I looked at Max.

"Ready?" I asked. 

She smiled at me and replied "Ready."
