Chapter8-Sisterly Unwelcomed

July 1, 2010

It's a month later, and 7th Anthem were now at Manchester. So far, their tour has gone smoothly. The arenas were either full or over capacity. They're also in the middle of promotion for their single, High Voltage, and recording their second album.

It's evening, and 7A were given a day off from their tour. Andrew and Alyson were at a hotel room, separate from the band's suite. They were hooking up when Alyson's iPhone buzzed.

They stopped, and she read the text. Her face had "worry" written on it. Andrew noticed, so he asked, "What's wrong?"

She replied, "It's Melissa, my sister. She just texted me, saying that she's going to see me perform tomorrow night."

 "What's wrong with that?"

"This is Melissa we're talking about. She acts like she's so much better than everyone. Plus, she and the rest of our family don't approve of you. And most of them practice Judaism. Almost all of them aren't Christians."

"Once again, is it because I was raised in a liberal, agnostic-but-respects-other-peoples-beliefs family?"

"Yeah, and your past as a grade school bully, and that you're not a Jew."

Andrew thought for a moment, and said, "Melissa can say whatever she wants. You're an adult. You're 21 now. You're the one to make your decisions, not her. Besides, I've learned a lot from your religion. It's very interesting, but I'm staying neutral."

"Fine by me. Ready for another round?"

Andrew lustfully grinned, and continued their deed.

It's the next night, and it was 7A's concert. The arena was packed with fans watching their favourite band. When it was over, 7A was met with fans who had backstage passes. They signed autographs and posed for pictures.

As the band entered their dressing room, Alyson checked on her phone for any messages. Andrew said to her, "Maybe she was shocked by how much you kicked ass tonight."

Suddenly, an unknown female voice said, "I doubt it."

7A turned, and saw who it was. Alyson asked, "Melissa?"

That's who it was: Melissa Bauer, Alyson's older sister by two years. She had blonde hair, which was unusual for her. She was a brunette, like Alyson. Melissa said smugly, "The one and only."

 "You're blonde!"

"I'm 23, Little Aly. I can do whatever I want with my hair."

Then Alyson asked with irritation, "Why are you really here?"

Melissa gave a short laugh as she replied, "You probably know why, but I'll say it anyway as you are as dumb as air. I'm here to watch your stupid show. You sound bad, and dance horribly."

Alyson said flatly, "I already know you hate my talents, and I can tell you that I'm not 'dumb as air.' If I was, 7th Anthem wouldn't be where we at today. So you better come up with a legitimate reason for being here."

Melissa glared at Alyson, and said, "Fine. I'm here to tell you that I still don't approve of your relationship with Andrew. It was one thing to keep your relationship hidden from the public. Now you two are openly having sex."

"Okay, Andrew and I did not set the paparazzi up, and we're not having open sex. Also, Andrew and I are 21 now. We're not teenagers anymore. We can be open with our relationship now."

 "Are you sexually active now?"

"Why do you want to know?" Alyson asked out of suspicion.

"Because you said you didn't openly sleep with Andrew."

"I don't sleep and tell. And besides, Andrew's the love of my life. You can't break us up no matter how much you hate us."

Melissa, once again, glared at Alyson. Her little sister gave a smirk. Then Melissa said as she was about to leave the dressing room, "Oh, you still dress like a slut. I'm not surprised that you'd wear a trashy ballerina outfit."

Alyson's outfit was a black mini-tulle skirt, a red sports bra, fishnet stockings, and flat boots. She was apparently fuming, so Andrew told her, "Don't let Melissa get under your skin. You're talent, sexy, smart, and passionate. You're everything I could ever want in a woman."

Alyson's hard frown slowly turned into a smile. She said, "I'm glad I'm your dream woman. As for Melissa, f*ck her and her hypocritical opinions."

 Then the couple kissed.

As soon as Melissa left 7A's dressing room, she was approached by Ethan. Feeling annoyed, she asked, "What is it, Ethan?"

He replied, "I just heard you gave Alyson a piece of your mind."

"She deserves it. I knew she would end up trashy and slutty since she decided to dress like Britney Spears when she was 11."

"Yes, I remember. It was a surprise to see Alyson change from a glasses-wearing, messy curly-haired tomboy to a tween vixen."

 "Anyway, what do you want?"

 "Do you like 7th Anthem?"

With that, Melissa stopped walking. She faced Ethan, and said, "Alyson, her so-called boyfriend Andrew, and everyone don't deserve to be celebrities. They're in their early 20s. They'll crash and burn like Lindsay Lohan."

Ethan smiled as he said, "I think I might be able to help you break up Andrew and Alyson, and the whole band itself."

Melissa gave an evil smile. Will she go through with this to destroy her little sister's life?
