She skipped up to the doors of the lab, clicking a button. "It's Kathrine. Here for Maki. I brought our friend along, too." She said. The doors opened and she walked in.
Aaden, the friend, followed her. He wasn't paying any attention to his surroundings, just to Kat.
They walked for a good ten minutes before getting to the stairs. She walked up the stairs with him behind. "Floor three, go left... Third room."
"Hm???" He hummed in question to her speaking.
She skipped up the stairs, "Maki's room. Third floor. Take a left. Third room."
He ran up the steps behind her.
She skipped to the third floor, taking a left.
He followed, "One..." he counted the second in his head, "Three..."
She walked to the door, opening it with a strange card. "Hellloooooo!"
He smiled as he followed her in.
There were some people in her room. They shushed her, looking through glass. Blood was on the glass.
Maki was running, a sword in her hand.
He watched a bit confused.
Maki darted, then slid. She looked through the glass. She was behind glass, but in a environment. A butterfly flew around her. She seemed disinterested.
He was quiet but stood near the glass.
She stood up straight. "I'm done for today." She said, throwing her sword into the wall. She stretched as she looked at everyone.
He moved beside of Kat.
Kat let out a giggle, watching Maki leave the glass room. Then Maki walk into the room they were in. She held her arm out to one of the scientists, who gave her a shot.
He walked over to her, "Hey."
She waves, wiping the blood from her arm. Her eyes flashed a bright blue for a moment.
He looked at Kat then at Maki, "I'm told you wanted to talk??"
She nodded. "Can everyone else leave the room?" She asked so they listened. "Kat, you, too." She said then Kat left. The door closed.
He looked around then back at her, "Why did they have to leave??"
"I have one question. You don't like me, so why do you wish to be around me?" she glared at him.
"Who said I didn't like you?" He frowned as he moved his hands behind his head. He raised his eyebrow in question, "Hm??"
"No one does. But your eyes do. You think I'm annoying, a bitch.. You dislike me, but you're friends with Kat so you deal with me."
"No. You just need to get to know me. You haven't seen me other than school and the time I took you to the park, which wasn't long." He smiled and looked at the door. He then looked at her, "Life's no fun unless you have a little bit of an up and down path."
She looked through the glass. "The only friend I've ever had is Kat. All I know are behind these walls... My fighting... My training... My life... All created here."
"Sorry to hear. If you want to explore a bit I am having a party really soon." He smiled and turned towards the window, "You can come as well as Kat and her Girlfriend."
She looked down, "I can't be in large crowds... Plus, Kat is taking me to get food tonight. Then we're going somewhere."
"It's not a lot. Just maybe a few guys... but like I told her. After if you want I'll let you in to hang out." He smiled and walked to her. Lightly he moved his hand under her chin, "I wouldn't mind sharing a salsa dip with you." He smirked and backed off of her.
She frowned a bit, then stepped back, "Me and Kat made plans. I'm going to her house after we eat, then taking her to the woods to teach her how to fight, along with her girlfriend." She looked away, "... I'm not going to meet your friends. I hate others."
"Ok. Have it your way. Thought you might enjoy other foods other than the sushi." He turned towards the door, "Oh. Kat's Girlfriend called, we might want to hurry."
She frowned, then looked down. "... Tell Kat I don't want to go get food. I'll see her another time." She said, then darted out the room, then down the hall.
