Maki ran past the ghost girl. Then stopped. Maki looked at the little girl. "... Chi." Maki said.
His eyes widen a bit then he leaned against the fence. He grabbed it, watching her. "Damn... She is cute even when she is hiding." He sighed and kept watching her.
Kat let out a small giggle at him.
Maki stared at the little girl, then bent down, pulling out a white rose. "How many years must I do this, Chi? Give you our favorite flower.. When will you move on?"
He smiled as he admired the girl. He had a sparkle in his eye as he leaned against the fence.
The ghost girl looked at her, then smiled. "Sis. It'll be okay. You always bring me these flowers. One day, you'll be like me. They'll kill you, too." The little girls voice echoed, then she disappeared.
Maki stood there. Her eyes were shut but she payed attention to the spirits around her.
His eyes widen a bit as his knees gave in. He wobbled to a stand then slowly started to walk down the fence line.
Kat looked at him. ".. Are you okay?"
Maki looked down, sighing.
"Yea... Follow me..." He swallowed as he walked behind a few bushes and crawled under the fence. He smirked as he waited for Kat. He was watching Maki from afar but he still kept an eye on Kat.
Kat followed him as told.
Maki looked at the largest ride in the park, then jumped. She landed on a small piece of wood that wasn't sturdy. She stood, looking ahead.
He frowned and helped Kat up. "My sis should be here..." He was watching Maki as he went towards the ride.
"Wait..." She whispered. "... There's hostile ones... Near.." She looked around. "They come here when Maki's here... Watch out.. They'll kill you."
"I know about them... That'd what happened to my sister." He looked at her, "If your not okay with it then go sit in my car... please..." He was quiet but determined. He had a glow in his eyes as he spoke about his sister and Maki.
"Maki won't let an-" she was cut off, a arrow flying past her. Her eyes widen as she looked behind her.
Maki stood there, six arrows in her. "... Never thought I'd die helping, did ya?" Maki joked, letting out a faint, but pained, giggle. "Always thought the lab would kill me." She said, ripping out the arrows.
He frowned as he turned towards them. He swallowed and ran over to her. "Stop You'll hurt yourself more..." The light in his eyes died as he reached for her.
She laughed, ripping the last one out. "I'll be fine." She said, looking at him. She smiled, a trail of blood rolling down her mouth.
He shook his head, "Kat there is a phone in my truck... its a landline so it can call out here." He looked at Maki, "You're not gonna die. At least not here...You remind me too much of my sis..."
