Maddie's pov
Everybody left exempt the first officer, the one that almost cried, and the girls. I just wish I could have said something more meaningful than "I love you too" to my parents I whined to the group. The girls were too sad to reply back to me, but the all hugged tighter symboling that they agreed and felt just as bad as I do. We were all wearing our pjs in the middle of the front of my house, and getting looks from people driving by us. The officer's name tag read "mark". Before I could call him that he motioned us to come to his car, he had a black suv that could hold all of us. Chloe looked up from crying in her lap and asked where we were going. Mark sighed and said, the law states that as hard as it is we have to go to a adaptation center. We were all sobbing by now, Brooke trembled, "we... Can't..... Be.... Split.... Up! I won't let it happen!" Mark looked at all our desperate faces and told us that he won't let it happen either, and if it does then we have to go find him and He will track us down and get us back together. We all thanked him as he stopped the car and got out with all of us. The hardest part of entering the adaptation center was going through the door.
