"Man I'm so screwed"

"No your not, I'll talk to him" Emily said giving me an awkward pat on the back.

I'd love to thank her, but I don't know how much good her talking him would do. I guess I expressed my doubt out loud because Emily answered "he'll listen to me, I'm his sister." I hated to break it to her but my sister is my legal guardian and I still don't listen to her half of the time.

"Trust me I have my ways."

As she said 'ways' an evil smirk appeared across her lips. I might have been worried if wasn't for the fact that Cole was getting closer. The air around me seemed to get thicker. Is it hot out here? I could feel the sweat forming on the back of my neck. I was finding it hard to catch my breath. Oh my gosh I think I'm hyper ventilating.

"Casey look at me..." grabbing me by my shoulders Emily forced me to look at her.

".... You need to calm down everything will be fine."

I nodded my head; she gave one last pat on the shoulder.

Cole had finally reached us and he wasn't alone. Two other guys were with him, both of them attractive in their own way. The one on the right was cute like in a boy next-door kind of way, you just wanted to pinch his cheeks. While the guy on your left looked like your typical player from head to toe he even had a smirk on his face that only seemed to make him more attractive. But neither of them had anything on Cole. He was gorgeous; his skin looked like it was kissed by the sun, he had these crystal blue eyes that you just wanted to stare into, and blonde curly hair that I could just see myself running my fingers through for days.

"Dylan" Emily smiled at the boy on the right, giving him a nod which he returned.

Her eyes narrowed as she looked at playboy "Kyle."

She said his name as if it was a curse. If I was Kyle I would have flinched, but he was unaffected. Scratch that; he seemed to enjoy her hatred of him. His smirk only seemed to widen. She gave him one last glare before facing her brother who had been seething the entire time. His body was tense with pent up frustration.

"So how is your morning, darling older brother?" She said this with a smile, batting her eyelashes in a fluttering motion giving the illusion of innocence, but we all knew better. I could just slap her (remind me to never ask for her help again). Her little show was only making him angrier. I could see his arm flex through his shirt. I had to fight urge to reach out and touch them. He was built like a god; I could see the outline of a six-pack through his shirt. Through my daze I saw that someone was trying to get my attention. Their hands were waving frantically in front of my eyes. My eyes snapped to Cole's blue ones, which I'm now noticing had little specks of green in them.

"Are you listening?"

His voice came out rough almost animalistic, it startled me. I had no idea what to say. If I said 'NO' then he would only get angrier with me and if I said 'YES' he would probably ask me to repeat what he said and in the end he would realize I hadn't been listening and he would just get angry, so either way I was screwed. So I just decided my best option was to remain quiet.

"Are you a mute or something?" his voice went up an octave.

If anyone wasn't listening before they sure were now. My palms were getting sweatier by the minute. Drying my hands of on my dress I casually tried to clear my voice. It still came out scratchy when I tried to speak "s-sorry I parked in your spot, but I can always move it."
