Danelle's POV

I was thinking about the scene that just played out before me, when I saw Niall on the floor.

Gosh, the drama never ends!

I called a nurse, while Louis inspected the damage.

Soon the lady dressed in baby blue scrubs came running in.

"What do you need?" She asked.

"Uh, he just bumped his head or something." I said, gesturing to the boy who was lying on the floor.

"Okay- what is doing THAT?!" The lady screamed, pointing at my monitor.

"What about i- OH MY GOSH!" I screeched, making it go even wilder.

She looked over my vitals, and her eyes were wide.

"We need to get you into surgery! Now!" She screamed.

"What?! Why!" Liam screamed.

"Why are we screaming!" Louis screamed.

We all smirked- sort of.

"Danelle needs emergency surgery." Liam squeaked.

"Well how could what I have cause- cause this!" I asked, waving my hands wildly in the directions of the monitors.

The nurse took a deep breath.

"I- I don't know. There is either something else, this is worse than we thought, or both." She explained, trying to show calmness that was not there.

Soon after taking Niall into his own room, I was taken to some room with a massive machine which I didn't know the name of.

So I spent the rest of the day getting x-rays and CAT scans and CT scans and a whole bunch of others that I couldn't remember.

The next day we found out that I had internal bleeding, and some of my other bones, including some of my vertebrae, were structurally damaged.

Jeez!

So now, I was extremely scared of what could happen. Will I die? Will surgery help me?

All of the sudden, a doctor and a nurse came in, with very anxious looks on their faces.

"Hello Danelle." The doctor said nicely.

"Hi." I squeaked.

"Well from your tests, it's seems we've found some structurally damaged bones and some internal bleeding."

I nodded in understanding.

"We've also had a life percentage- we've calculated the percentage of the chance that you're going to survive."

"What's the percentage?!" I asked anxiously.

"Well, it's 60-65. We've also found something else from your tests."

At that point my heart dropped. 60-65?!? That's horrible! And now they've found something else!?

"What is it?" I asked impatiently.

"Well I'm sorry to say, that it's heart cancer."

After I heard those words, I started sobbing uncontrollably.

I must be damned!

"Luckily it hasn't spread much, so it seems we can treat it easily and quickly." He said quickly.

Gee, that's great! Totally helping! Note the sarcasm...

I took a glance at Liam and he had his head in his hands.
