Black men and women serve as a shooting targets in America,
Each day I could hear the blood of Black victims crawl upon American soil,
crying out,
screaming for mercy,
The bright red matter spilling through the narrow streets, craving justice over its oppressors,
Yet people continue to walk and stomp unto it without a care, as if murdering Black men/women was a custom,
a daily practice,
Days go by
the blood dries upon the earth
and the scene is forgotten ,
thrown away,
Tapes are erased and the victim is claimed to have created a homicide,
An "accident" they claim,
An accident with 14 bullets
Black death is always a simple accident,
I see them,
Police,
walking around like they own Black neighborhoods,
To and Fro they go up the streets,
Open targets we are, they kill for power,
Murderers they are but police they claim to be
Fathers by day and murders in the streets?
And I pledge to the flag that we stand under one nation, one brotherhood, and have justice for all?
Right
The Bullet is the new lynching,
Shooting Black men/women is only a friendly game,
A Black man's soul is invisible in his own country,
Simply uninvited,
And this is because of the beautiful pigment of his skin,
And I say as once Malcolm X once stated,
Who taught you to hate the color of your skin?
Who taught you to hate the way your nose or lips or shaped?
Who taught you to hate the way you talk or the way your body curves?
Who taught you to go against and belittle your own race?
Who taught you to form teams against different colors of our skin?
My Black people
My Brothas and my Sistas
My Kings and my Queens
Who have taught you to deny your own people?
We have been programmed from generations and generations to hate who we were since the day our ancestors set foot on this land,
Brainwashed to love Eurocentric features than we do our own beauty,
Look around my people, educate your minds
We are more powerful and full of such more beauty and knowledge than what you allow yourself to think,
We witness
Colorism,
Self hate,
Even disgust
All mixed up around the outside and inside the Black community,
Hearing the white man laugh at what he has created,
My Kings and Queens
Open up your eyes,
Since the day we were born we were taught about how our history is mainly about slavery,
Slavery and protesting,
Segregation and protesting,
Integration and protesting,
Protesting throughout generations and peace and equality is still being demanded,
Let me make this clear enough for you,
Let my words edge a pathway in your mind,
We are more than slavery!
We are more than the rich beautiful, smooth, and dark skin of all shades!
We are more than our unique, thick, kinky hair of all textures whether short or long, natural or not!
We are more than our dialect!, our words speak power and unity,
We are more than our curves and exotic features!
We are more than just being Black!
We are more than being a shooting target in Amerikka!
We are not here to live to only die in the streets lying dead of a crime we didn't commit!
Shooting isn't Power.
Murdering isn't Power.
Words are power.
Unity is Power.
Black unity is Power.

Support and protect each other my Black Brothas and Sistas!
Know and educate yourselves before Amerikkka tries to tell you.
