The darkness of the room was only illuminated by the moonlight. The silence was shushed by the purring of Frederick, my black cat resting on my chest.
He is the only friend I have at this time. The only one who was there for me. His purrs would sooth me to sleep. My very best friend.
It was 3 am. My thoughts dragging me down like chains, the burning sensation under my sleeves getting worse.
I ran to the bathroom, the light stunned my eyes. The feeling of hot water splashing on my face brought me back to reality. Red stained my sleeve.
I sighed, looking in the mirror. The figure mocked me. Following my every move, twisting everything in a disgusting sight.
I walked back into my room, being hugged by the covers of my bed.
I wasn't met with the glory of sleep, my mind draped over me till the morning.
Once again, I got up from the comfort of my bed. I grabbed my navy blue school shirt, putting it on. Slipping on my khaki pants, I walked into the bathroom, greeted by the figure again.
Hello.
Brushing my black hair out of my face, it only fell right back. Sighing, I continued by routine, putting on my red converse.
I walked down the all too familiar street. I blocked the sense of reality with music.
