The Lions Voice

Chapter 2

POV Phil

Phil got out of his car turning the keys then shoving them in his pocket. His mum had finally let him go to normal school. But he had to take special needs classes since he couldn't talk. So a teacher that knew sign language had to be in every classroom that Phil was in.

Having two periods to himself and not being followed around by a teacher was his lecture's and video production. He always had a passion for computers and internet since he could express himself. He made music. Taking songs and mashing them together. He was good at that. He also played guitar, he wasn't that good but he knew the basic chords and how to read sheet music.

Phil shrugged his backpack on his shoulder walking through the hall's. His first class was Maths. He sat in the back row in the left corner of the room taking out a notebook and a pencil with golden sonic rings covering it.

The day was boring and dull. He never really knew why he wanted to go to normal schools, considering how mean kids were to him before. He just needed the experience so when he was older and people asked him what his life was like he didn't have to answer with 'Oh I lived with my mom until I was 30'

He finished up his last core class of the day as he walked down the halls. Boys in huddles snickering at him as he walked past, girls staring at him like a wild animal. He hugged his book bag as a boy stuck his foot out tripping Phil as he fell onto his knees books spilling out of his bag.

They all laughed as a girl from a group of laughing girls came up to him picking up notebook, "I'm sorry" she smiled. Lets take a moment to just say. She was hot. Her hair in a messy bun on the top of her head with fine drawn eyebrows and lips and lets just say, Phil would have been a stuttering mess if he could speak.

He smiled taking the books putting them into his bag standing up, "Im Zoe." He held out her hand. Phil bit his lip and shook it. His hands fumble around in clumsy signs. "He cant talk Zoe don't bother with him!" A boy shouted. "Oh poor thing" she whispered to Phil taking his hand and holding it. "Where are you going?" They started walking away from the crowds of soon to be adults. Phil pulled out his schedule pointing to 'Video Productions'.

The girl nodded and led him to the room opening the door for him. "Here ya go." He smiled and walked away as Phil sluggishly walked into the room. Everybody looked at him as the teacher took the responsibility of introducing Phil to the class. He sat in a corner seat next to a boy with curly hair. He was cute too, but not as cute as the girl. The guy introduced himself as 'PJ'. He explained the project to Phil as he caught the gaze of a boy sitting in the front of the room. They looked at each other for a split second before turning away.

Phil caught eyes with the boy a few more times before the teacher walked over to answer his question. Phil pointed to his screen which said, 'I don't know how to work this program. Can somebody show me how to?' The teacher nodded and looked back at the boy from before sharpening his pencil behind him.

"Dan sit down." He grumbled. Dan nodded sitting down in his chair before the teacher called him up to the front of the room. Phil tried to concentrate but PJ kept making jokes. Phil decided to stop working and laugh at him.

Phil was sadder than he thought he was going to be at the end of the class as PJ left with a 'See you tomorrow'. Phil was packing up his stuff as the boy from before looked at him walking up. "Uhh, Hey I'll be working with you on this project. My name is Dan, nice to meet you Phil"
'Nice too meet you to Dan' he shook Dan's hand as they walked out of the classroom together awkwardly looking away from each other.

So my friend thought it would be cool if i took two chapters and explained the same day in both Dan and Phil's point of view. I thought it was cool idea so I'm going to do that unless you guys don't want me too.
