Sebastian gives William and Hex directions to the library of the manor. William and Hex start walking off. When they are about halfway down the hall Grell shouted after them "Hex do not steal or damage any of those books! Got it!" Hex pivots on her heels and yells back "I know! I'm not a child!" As soon as they are out of sight the three go quiet.
"So, Grell you ... have a sister" Sebastian question. "No, I don't... At least not blood-related. My parents and I all committed suicide at one point. We all ended up becoming reapers. A big happy family... I guess... You see one day my parents and I were walking through the woods of the damned. It was there when we came across a little creature crying. From what I could tell it was a lion cub. When I approached it all it did was blink and transformed into what you see now. We took her in. Every reaper knows that she isn't a real reaper... All except for her. But, she believes the only way for her to become a reaper and become one in everyone's eyes is to defeat all of me. Though she has to beat everyone else as well, even the top rankers. And to say the very least she already has. I'm the only one left. Everyone says that she's giving me a type of mercy because I was raised as her brother. The truth is... she's a demon. It can easily be seen. Every soul she has ever reaped, she has a tendency to stare at it with a strong sense of hunger." Grell said in a serious voice.
'A demon who's a lion?' Sebastian thought. "Anyways it seems that every reaper man has fallen in love with her and refuses to let her go back to hell. I, on the other hand, don't give a shit. If it wasn't obvious we have a sibling rivalry. Despite the fact we are not siblings. So if anything I'm glad she came here today. Because now you can tell her what she really is. And maybe she will believe someone like you...," Grell looks at Sebastian finishing his sentence.
"So you want me to tell this girl who was raised by reapers that she's a demon," Sebastian says a little confused. Grell nods and adds "In fact, if I can trust you I would like her to stay here and work. Maybe she can learn to be a demon if she was around one." It takes a couple of minutes for Sebastian and Ciel to think this proposal over. Sebastian can't help but think back to the girl. It causes him to smile at the thought of having an extra demon set of hands-on his side. He gladly excepted Grell's offer. He then looks to his master. Ciel had been quiet and just listening this past conversation. He looks straight into Sebastian's eyes and nodded his head. Something inside Sebastian sparks with joy. Ciel dismisses Sebastian to go tell Hex about her newfound identity and job position.
