They say that being immortal is an impossibility. But is it? Now, if you truly think to yourself, you should realize the inevitable circumstances. Look around you, we are immortal. Not in the sense of the flesh, and not even in the sense of the spirit. But instead, we remain after we die. We stick around, albeit in story, folktale, rumours, documents, whatever it may be, it does not matter, for we are immortal, and my point has been proven. Now, why does this matter? I had been infatuated with the concept of becoming immortal for a quantity of time that is a nigh impossibility to fathom. It occupied my every thought, and it condemned me to a small spectrum of activities, as my conscience, and thus, my effort, was allocated into an expedition that entailed my finding of a vast spectrum of concepts, all of which based themselves around creating an immortality. Eventually, I realized that there was little chance that immortality would become livid in my life time. Thus, I instead assigned my time to obtaining eternity on paper, or via story. I began to build a name for myself, and I invested my time in basking in greatness. My life was characterized by countless voyages to illustriousness. This was no easy task. As my self, that is Noah, I was no pinnacle of prosperity; but if I were able to invent a name for myself, another identity, one in complete juxtaposition with my current temperament, I could achieve prominence. It seemed almost too delightful, the fact that my currently loathed life style could be transformed into the epitome of celebrity.
Now, it is understandable that you request further information, most likely pertaining to how I became notorious. Thus, I shall provide you with a remedy:
I became The Unknown. How ironic, isn't it? That my lust for fame was turned inside out, and displayed as undisclosed! But, such is not the case. The reasoning behind by labelling was due to the fact that, although I was renowned, no one knew my true identity. I had made a token of myself, by being viewed, but not understood; I know, it seems like a large quantity of information to process, but stick with me, as I will disclose valuable information shortly.
Essentially, one day, after a considerable amount of arrangement, I killed someone.
Was that too rash? Too unadvised? Perhaps, of course, this was probably the most efficient way of obtaining limelight status. Within 24 hours, the butchering was broadcast to thousands of people! Thousands of people witnessed me, well not technically me, but the notion of my identity! So, I did what any competent person would do given the right quantity of greed and narcissism:
3 days later, I killed again.
And again, and again. Joe, here's where it gets interesting. There was one moment, whilst I was meticulously monitoring the status of my infamy, when a proposal was gifted to me. This prophesy - of sorts - designated the treatment of me in an established process; henceforth, I was to be referred to as The Unknown. This proposition was exclaimed by the police, and I was, given my identity, cast out as an unknown. Oddly enough, this was something that I beseeched. As being cast out, shunned, meant people spent their time focusing on YOU, in that they concentrated on forgetting you, and thus, they expended all their time on trying to make you disappear. Being cast out for my horrible deeds, being viewed as a tyrant, a barbarian, a gruesome monster, it was all such an exhilarating experience.
Now that I have disclosed this information, I believe it is an excellent time to begin my story; I shall do so as always, (from 3rd person, one cannot tell a fair intro in a non alike manner), such is the story of the unknown, and the anarchy that his lust and narcissism fabricated.
Yes, now we can begin.
