It was a quiet ride there. I was to nervous to speak. Nervous about going to a party with a guy I barley know. Nervous about my parents finding out I went out with permission. Dylan pulled into a dark drive in the woods. It lead up to a cabin and you could see strobe lights from the windows. i hate strobe lights. I shivered.
"You okay?" Dylan asked.
"Yeah. Well kinda. I guess I'm a little nervous." I admitted.
"Don't worry," he said putting his hand on my shoulder, "I am too"
I chuckled.
We both got out of the car and walked up to the cabin and walked in without knocking. I doubt anyone would've heard us knock because the music was blasting. The floor was even shaking a bit from the bass.
I really don't know what to do...I've never been to a party. Dylan took my hand and lead me out to dance. I swayed my hips, he twirled me, and then clumsy me fell...He laughed and helped me up and took me to sit.
"You are a wonderful dancer!" he laughed.
"Aren't I?!" I laughed too.
My phone rang... It was my dad. Dylan saw my phone and we walked outside.
"Dad?" I asked trying to sound tired.
Dylan started to laugh and had to step away.
"Where the hell are you?" My dad yelled into the phone.
"What do you mean"
"You aren't in bed"
"Why the hell are you looking in my room dad?"
"To make sure you didn't sneak out"
"I'm...I'm with a friend. Please don't be mad...She needed help with the homework we got today"
"Are you lying to me? A friend?"
"No i am not lying to you. Yes a friend"
Dylan was back over here.
"May I speak to your friend?" my dad asked.
I gave the phone to Dylan. He imitated a girls voice and said,
"Hello? Elena's father?"
"Yes that's me" he replied.
"You wanted to talk to me sir?"
I started laughing.
"No, sorry."
Dylan gave me the phone back.
"Better dad?" I asked.
"Yes" he said
"I am sorry i left without asking. I'll be home later."
"Okay. Next time ask me please."
"I will, if you promise not to snoop around in my room."
"I promise. Love you."
"I love you too dad. Bye"
I fell into Dylan's arms and we both busted out laughing.
"You wanna get outta here?" he asked.
"And go where?" I replied with a question.
"First, we can go get food. Then I'll take you home"
"Alright. I'd like that"
