It'd been a month since he'd last checked on Sans. Oh, so much could go wrong in a month! He'd just been so distracted by his new surface life with Mettaton that it had slipped his mind. Luckily, today was completely free so he could go check on him! He was sure that Sans would be delighted to see him along with the queen- er.. His wife. Papyrus knocked proudly and stood there, waiting for an answer. When one didn't come, he thought maybe Sans was sleeping as usual so he simply entered the home.
"Sans?" He called out. "Sans, brother, are you here?"
Nobody answered. He walked down a long corridor when he heard it. A small grunt that he knew came from Sans. Another, another.
"Sans!" Papyrus heard Toriel call out, "It's so.. hard.."
It didn't take a genius to figure out the situation at hand.
"Maybe we should stop, Tori.." Sans said, sounding exhausted.
"No! I can keep going!" Toriel responded.
Papyrus wasn't sure whether to be proud of his brother, or disgusted. To say the least, he chose disgusted.
He stormed towards the room where all the noise was coming from, completely prepared to yell at both of them for doing such an act with Frisk at the house. He barged it, opened his mouth to yell at them and-
"Oh, hey bro." Sans grinned at his brother.
"Ah hello Papyrus." Toriel smiled.
Both were wearing clothes, sitting up, and trying to open a pickle jar.
"Hey bro, you're tough. Why don't you try to open it?" Sans asked, but Papyrus just shut the door and headed towards the exit. Completely embarrassed at what he had just done. Never again did he randomly check up on his brother.
