We are all at the dinner table eating and my little brother Dylan is being annoying like always..
"Hey Michael! What do you get when you mix a hot chick and a kitten together." He blurted out
"Dylan eat your food." My mom mumbled
"A Puss-ayyyyy." He said smoothly
"Ew, Dylan what the hell."
"Okay, that's enough! Go to your room." My dad shouted out. Dylan jumped and ran to his room
"I was just trying to break the silence." He mumbled while walking upstairs
"Well now you can be in your room full of silence." My dad snorted. I rolled my eyes, and looked over at Michael with my very annoyed face. He mouthed over to me "it's okay."
"So Michael? What's been going on with you now that you and Fallon graduated from college?" My dad said with a serious tone. Michael cleared his throat
"Well I plan on working with nature a little bit more." Michael said softly. My dad scoffed
"Nature? So what are ya gonna do? Hunt for the rest of your life?" My dad said back
"Not exactly...." Michael said looking over at me. "I love animals, all kinds, and I would love to study them as well. Study their habitat, study their behavior, and their predators, and their life cycle. So I would be more in the biology field."
"Well Michael, I think that's great." My mom said before taking another bite of her food
"Yeah it's alright... Still don't see how you can make money off that... You need a real mans job." My dad said
"Dad.." I whispered to him
"No Fallon, let him continue." Michael said dropping his napkin on the table and looking over at my dad. The tension was thick
"You damn sure I'm gonna continue.. How are you gonna want to date my daughter and try to hunt animals hmm? How is that gonna pay bills?!"
"With all due respect sir, I am very well off from my parents, and the upbringing they gave me, and not only that, but I have my own home that is 25 minutes away from here, with 7 acres of land, and no neighbors or anyone that could bother me. I will be a great provider and protector of Fallon better than you will ever be. So, now that I've got that off my chest... Fallon will be moving out of your household very soon, sir." Michael said, standing up away from the dinner table
"Michael!? We haven't-" I said before my dad cut me off
"Is that so?? Well she sure as hell hasn't told me about that yet??! My little girl is NOT going anywhere with you. And you? Be a great protector?? Please! Your the size of my arm." My dad said standing up from his chair
"Honey! Sit down, Michael please." My mom said to both of them. The clock then made a noise, it was now 9 o clock. I looked over at Michael quickly. He needs to get out of here before he gets angry and turns into a wolf right before my parents eyes! I can hear his heartbeat beating out of control
"I've looked in the eyes of a bear sir.." Michael says while walking closer to my dad. I then get up out of my chair.
"I have danced with Wolves sir, and I've done a whole lot of things with these hands sir... So their is nothing you can say or do that will intimidate me.. And your little girl, she's a woman now, she can make her own decisions." Michael said strongly
"Get out of my house." My dad said deeply
"With pleasure." Michael said storming me out
"Michael wait! Dad! Why do you have to be such an asshole!" I said running out the house.
"Michael!!!! Michael!!!!" I yelled out, finally seeing him start up his car. I run over to him
"Meet me at my house tonight." Michael said before driving off. I can see the fire in his eyes. This is not gonna be good.
