James and Victoria split up when Mackenzie and Melanie were only 2 years old. Victoria made it obvious that she didn't care shout what happened to Mackenzie, as long as she kept Melanie she was happy, Mel was her favourite. This left James more than happy to have custody over Mackenzie.
Both parents allowed the twins to see one another on a daily/weekly basis. However, as time went by it was more than clear to see that the girls grew a disliking towards each other consequently their parents made a mutual dedication to give the twins some time apart so when the girls were 12 they stopped seeing each other.
As the girls grew older their memories grew distant an began to fade. When a fatal accident occurs, 16 year old Mackenzie is forced to live with her mother and her selfish, spoilt sister. Saying Melanie the golden child would be the understatement of the century.
Mel steals Mac's clothes, friends and even tried to hook up with her boyfriend but when Mac complains her mum always blames it on her.
"Maybe you should be nicer to your friends, maybe you should try being prettier to keep your boyfriend interested."
All this made Mackenzie hate her evil twin more and more but, As time goes on, Mac begins to see that there is more to her bitchy sister than meets the eye. Mel has secrets of her own...
