Today was the day... the day I leave my teammates, my friends. I had to go back and live in Japan because my parents thought it was time to go back there and their new jobs are there. It was the end of volleyball practice and the sun was setting. Feeling something wet slide down my face and my teammates had them too.

"We'll miss ya, Queen." My best friend (B/f/n) said. I could see that they were miserable to see me go. As a matter a fact, all were sad because of my leaving.

"I told you not to call me that... and I'll miss you all too" I managed to say before bursting into tears. I hugged them as they hugged back. I heard shuffles coming toward us and a ring of comfort surrounded me. A group hug had formed around my depressed body. I hear "yeah"s and "I'll miss you"s from the others. Breaking away from the hug, I walked up to the coach.

"Hey sport, we sure will miss you here. You're known as 'The queen of volleyball' to the world, but to us... you're part of our family. I hope you'll remember us (Y/n)." Coach had a tear on her face as she continued,

"Also, this may be childish but..." I felt something being put on my head. I try to guess what it was as I touch it.

"A... a crown?" She replied with 'mhm'.

"And kid, your teammates and other people wrote you letters." I was at the point that I couldn't take it anymore, I just can't see them all sad. I broke down again, thanking everyone in the gym for everything throughout the years.

Our time lasted as my parents came in the gym. My mother and father had a sad smile planted on their face as they called me out. With one final group hug from them, I run towards my mum and dad. My hand moved in a way to say goodbye. My other was wiping my tears away as I open the van's door. My legs were shaking and so were my hands, I close the sliding door and open the window. I waved again before putting up my window. Mum and Dad mounted the vehicle and we rode off. And that's the last time I'll ever see them again. Luckily I've gotten (b/f/n)'s number on my phone, so I can contact them. The van moved at a steady pace as we drove home to get our some stuff. We were in a actually in a rush since our flight is in about 4 hours. I stayed in the car since most of my stuff were in the back and my parents had to get some things. My Mum and Dad were back and got on. Dad isn't driving though, it was my uncle. The journey to the airport was long, like a 45 minute drive. I couldn't cry anymore, I ran out of tears. Well my heart was still heartbroken because of the move and I was a bit joyed to hear that we'll be living with grandma and grandpa. They sort of spoiled me with food... yeah.

Arriving at the airport, I carried my sports bag and backpack. As I enter, some people stared at me and whispered things I can't understand. Sighing, I pull out my phone and pop in my earphones. I was listening to (fave band/singer) as we fell in line for the luggage check. We waited for a bit and I was getting bored, until a little girl who looks like she's 5 asked me

"a-are you the queen of volleyball." I was taken aback by her question. I nodded and replied

"but I prefer not to be call that, sweetie." I smiled as her eyes widened and brightened. Her petite form ran back to her sister who was a few people behind us. I wasn't used to this fame thing considering the fact that I'm a 8th grader who's technically in high school. I continued on waiting in line with my parents. I always wondered why I got famous even though I don't deserve fame. I just love volleyball and so I helped my team be in the nationals. (idk if they go to the nationals so sorry!) Out of luck, we won. I was first the ace in my team before I was switched to the libero.

It was our turn to go. I place my sports bag on the scale and I wasn't really surprised about it's weight. It was only a few clothes with my laptop, chargers, and uniform. Next up were my parents. Excusing me aside, they place their own luggage. Along with their stuff, my bag rode mechanism towards somewhere that was covered by flaps. I already weighed the backpack and it's very light. We'll be walking to where our plane is, well after we pass airport security.

We were finally boarding the aircraft. We were met by smiling stewardess and stewards. Smiling back, I find my seat through out the long airplane. My parents found their seat and my chair was beside them. Surprisingly I managed to sit next to a guy who's looks like he's my age. He's tall and muscular. He must be really sporty to get that body. He's quite handsome, with his red hair and wild red eyes. His eyebrows though... they're split in two. What I noticed of him was his aura. It's all wild and sh*t, like a tiger. I blushed a bit but quickly shook off the colors on my cheeks. He looked my way and caught me staring.

"Oi, why are you staring at me." I didn't even realize that I was staring at him. The thought of it though, made my cheeks heat up.

"Ah um Sorry!" I covered my beat red face. I heard a small 'tch' from him as the pilot spoke out of the speaker. There was an awkward silence but the pilot saved me from being anxious.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we will be taking off now. Make sure you're all buckled up." I was all buckled up before I stared at the seatmate. "Maybe he plays basketball or he swims." I ponder a bit, stealing some glances at him. I don't want to talk to strangers but... he's something. No one my age can achieve that body and aura. Heck, I can't even do that. I'm determined.

"Oi, I'm Kagami Taiga..." My eyes widened as I place my elbow on the little table in front of me. I'd never knew that this guy would introduce himself to me, a complete stranger to him. I smiled a bit at him, noticing that he had a hint of pink on his cheeks. My smile turned into a smirk before I got to introduce myself.

"I'm (Y/n) (L/n), nice to meet you Kagami."  I say as I caught a glimpse of my mum whispering something to dad. Shaking off the thought of them having a secret,I pull out my phone and plugged in my headphones. Of course it's on airplane mode. Putting on Fall out boy's old songs, I averted my eyes away from him, melting into a relaxing trip.

Well until my seatmate said, "You're the queen of the court in volleyball huh?"

Taking off one earbud, I nodded and replied, "I prefer not to be called that though, please call me (Y/n)." I'm not really the one to talk to strangers but he's interesting. He asked questions on how I got the tittle, etc. Our talk was cut off short when a stewardess came through and asked what I would like for dinner, then proceeded to ask Kagami, and moved on to my mum and dad. Receiving the dish, I directly dug in, and chugging it all down with water. I ate the bread and plugged the other earbud on. I looked at my parents and they seemingly do not care if I talked to a stranger. My mother looked at me then at my seatmate. She just smiled as she rested her head on my dad's shoulder. I was getting sleepy as well.

"Gotta rest Taiga... Good night, I guess." With that said, I dozed off to dreamland as music from (band/singer here) played. I didn't notice Kagami staring at me for a bit before reply with "Good night to you too."

(Holy molly, there's a lot of interactions with Kagami, if you even know that dude. Yeah, the action will be in chapter one. Yeah sorry about the whole Kagami thing... :p)
