Clouded Minds

Chapter 4

I enter the playground where I find a crowd of people cheering. When I say cheering.. They was actually Jeering at me..
Obviously Tristian told them that I was a coward.. Or maybe he told them.. I couldn't do karate..

I sigh and step toward Tristian in an attempt to reason with him.
"Tristian.. I'm not going to fight you.."
He smirks at me "Why.. Because your too chicken.."

I frowned "I don't need a reason.. But at least I have morals, unlike you."

Tristian growls "What's that supposed to mean?."

I grin at him. "Obviously I've touched a nerve.. Maybe you need to have a long hard look at yourself in the mirror.. All you are and all you ever will be is a bully."
I turn to walk away. When from behind he attempts to attack me. I anticipated this and grabbed him by the shoulders and his hips and flung him right over me. Where he landed on his back.

Tristian doesn't let the pain of the landing get to him. He looks at me menacingly "Your going to pay for that.."

I grin "Oh yeah.. By the way I lied.. I've taken countless karate lessons after school in my last schools anyway.. Meet Black belt Corlina."

Tristian growls "Enough talk.. More fight."
He attempts to grab me to do exactly the same move I did.. But at the last moment he missed because I side stepped.

I laugh "This is all to easy.. I suggest you forfeit now.. Before it's too late.. Besides your mother wouldn't want this now would she?.."

He growls " You shut up about my mother.. She didn't jump to protect me when my step father beat me into oblivion.. And when I'm done here.. She's gonna get the same treatment."

I scoff "Hasn't it ever come to your notice that perhaps she was scared?.. You have absolutely no human compassion whatsoever and if you go through with this your more of an idiot than I thought you were."

I push him out of my path and walk back into school to grab my bag from the lockers and as the bell rings I head for home.
