Doll House
****
When I went to sleep, I dreamt that ...
My dad let me have a sleepover at my BFF's house. When he started driving over there, it started raining.
He dropped me off and said goodbye. I gave him a really big hug and told him that I loved him. He told me the same thing.
He kissed me, then went off to work. It was a good thing I had my umbrella with me, because it was raining.
I knocked on the door and my friend's mom welcomed me in.
It was really warm in there. I took off my coat. It was only 5:37 P.M. I didn't have to take a shower.
Me and my friend, Hailee, watched T.V. for an hour and I told Hailee I had to wash up.
After I took a cold shower, we watched a movie.
Hailee's mom told us to get the mail. It was already dark outside, and it was thunderstorming.
Hailee and I went outside with my umbrella to get the mail. For some reason, the mailbox was really far away.
After like 15 minutes of walking, we were lost in the thunder storm.
I suggested we go ask someone for shelter. Hailee agreed to go with me.
We saw a house. A real nice one. I knocked on the door. A pretty lady answered it.
But something about her made me feel uneasy. She was staring at us as we went upstairs.
There was no one upstairs. The only things that were with us were a baby crib and a doll with no eyes. We looked downstairs.
When I got a closer look at her, she was becoming more like a doll. I looked away.
Hailee opened a door to a dark room. I didn't want to go in there. I wanted to get out of the house as soon as possible.
As pretty as the house looked, it was terrifying in some way. I told Hailee we had to get out of there.
Hailee agreed. We scurried down the staircase as fast as we could. I opened the door, and we ran as fast as our legs can carry us.
I looked behind us, and the doll woman was right there. We ran and ran. But Hailee ran out of energy. She told me to go without her.
She also told me that she was going to die anyways. We hugged and said goodbye to each other for the last time I told her she was still my best friend, no matter what.
Hailee stopped walking. I saw tears coming out of her eyes.
"Good... Bye... Allene..." Hailee said. I cried then ran. I heard Hailee's helpless scream echo through the neighborhood.
I also heard a killing blow. Hailee was dead. I knocked on each door in the neighborhood. Nobody answered.
Until I came to the last one in the street. A police officer opened it. I asked for help.
Before I could finish my sentence, my big sister woke me up.
I was angry at her for waking me up because I was having a good sleep!
Lol.
