Chapter 2

[Makayla's P.O.V]

"Psst! Over here! Queen! Psst! Down here!" Said a small warm voice. I gasped at what I saw. It was a little blue bird, sitting on the window sill. "My heavens! Did you just talk?" I asked it. "Yes queen It was I, my name is peeper all the animals are talking about your arrival, I flew over here as fast as I could and here you are! You're beautiful! I shall be your protector and friend." It said as I put my hand on the sill and it hopped on, I placed her on my shoulder and she sat there like she was on a branch. "Does the king know about you?" I asked the bird. "No, not that I know of." She answered honestly.
I set her on my bed bar and heard a knock at the door. "Come in." I said kindly. "Oh my! A bluebird! How beautiful!" Rose cried as she whistled and the bird flew to her shoulder. "Hello peeper, good to see you again. Now let's get the queen ready for dinner shall we?" Rose said as she opened my closet and pulled out a purple ball gown and helped me put it on as it made my boobs pop higher up. She then put my hair up in a fancy way. "A gift from King Niall your highness." A survant said as she held a box and I opened it. "Wow this is lovely, tell King Niall I really love this." I said with a smile. "Shall I mention this to King Harry?" The servant asked. "Yes, please tell him, so he can thank king Niall himself." I said with smile. "The King is expecting you your highness dinner will be soon. The other kings are on their way." Rose said as she took my arm around hers and helped me down the main staircase. I picked up my dress and walked along the tile floors towards the dinning hall where Harry stood looking out the window, he turned and smiled at me. "My beautiful Makayla! I'm glad you're early, did you enjoy your gift?" He asked me as he took it gently from the case and placed it around my neck, clipping it on. "Yes Harry, it's absolutely beautiful." I said as I kissed his lips softly. "I'm glad you loved it! King Niall is very excited to meet you. I'm guessing you're excited to see your mate Queen Amber?" Harry asked me as he smiled and held my hand. "Very excited." I said with a smile. Suddenly a fan fair played and the two front doors opened. "Introducing King Liam And Queen Amber Of Coventry!" The announcer said as they walked in arms linked with smiles. "Introducing King Niall and Queen Jennifer of Bradford." The announcer continued as they join us. "Last but not least King Louis and Queen Annabelle of Manchester." The announcer said as they shut the doors behind them. Harry clapped happily. "My dear friends! It is a honor to see you once again. Pardon me, I almost forgot. Liam, Louis, and Niall this is my bride and queen of Cambridge Makayla." Harry said. All three stepped forward. "Charmed, a true beauty good choice Harry." Niall said as he kissed my hand and smiled. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you." King Liam said as he stepped aside and a gift was presented with a box. "A gift from me and Amber, for you Queen Makayla. We hope you like it." He commented. I opened the box and inside was a beautiful pink sparkly ball gown. "Oh my! This is so beautiful! Thank you very much!" I cried happily as I smiled. "May I hug King Liam and Queen Amber?" I asked Harry. "By all means! Go ahead my dear." Harry said as I hugged them both. "Hello Makayla, I'm Louis. Harry is my best mate. I also have a gift for you, from me and Annabelle." He pointed out as a puppy was brought into the room on a leash. "She is fully fixed and is trained for anything. I hope you love her as much as I did." Louis said as he smiled. "Thank you! Harry it's a puppy! Oh how wonderful!" I said happily and bent down to pick it up as it licked my face. "Awwwh. How sweet." King Louis cried as he held his queen close. Surprisingly, Amber was the only one paying any attention to me besides Harry and the three other kings, Niall's and Louis's brides were a bunch of snobs. One of them gave me dirty looks and it made me uncomfortable so I excused myself from the table and walked out into the hallway. "Makayla my love, what's wrong? Don't you like dinner?" Harry asked as he held my hand softly, I could see the worry in his two emerald eyes. "I loved dinner, I truly did it was delicious, it's just that Queen Annabelle was giving me these disapproving looks and it made me uncomfortable." I explained kindly. "I shall talk to Louis right away, you sit with Amber and talk, have a good time my beautiful angel." Harry said as he let me back into the room as I sat down next to Amber and talked with her as we laughed. Peeper landed on my shoulder and looked at ambers face. "Who's this?" Peepers asked confused. "This is my good mate Queen Amber." I explained to peepers. "D-Did that bluebird just speak?" Amber asked as she smiled. "I sure did blondie!" Peeper said as she laughed. Amber laughed and peeper hopped onto the table. "Now where's this Annabelle girl?! I'll peck her eyes out!" Peeper growled as she looked around on high alert. "Did that bird just say it was gonna peck my eyes out?!" Annabelle said as she freaked. "Nope. You're hearing things, birds can't talk!" I laughed. "Yeah I did whatcha gonna do about it? Huh? You gonna kill the poor cute innocent birdy?" peeper teased. Me and Amber laughed. "I'm gonna kill you! you nasty bird!" Annabelle growled as she took peeper and choked her little neck as Louis and Harry re entered the room as the birds neck snapped. "You monster!" Harry growled. "That was my pet bird! My prized possession!" Harry cried. "I want her gone! She's banned from my home! Louis take her home!" Harry snapped. "Right away." Louis agreed as Annabelle dropped the bird on the table and stormed off angrily. I took peeper in my hand gently and dug a hole deep in the flower soil and placed her on the bench as I cried into my hands. "Peeper was only angry! She wasn't gonna really peck her eyes out.. She was just an innocent blue bird..." I sobbed as Harry fell by my side rubbing my back as he cried and placed peeper in the soil and buried her. Amber, Niall, Jennifer, and Liam all stood there and watched with sad faces. Harry wiped his eyes and kissed my cheek helping me up. "What's done is done, she's never allowed back here again! Ever!" Harry said as he walked into the palace and I followed behind him. Louis came back without his Queen. Me and Harry changed and got ready for the ball. Harry and I sat on our thrones as everyone danced and smiled. Harry took my hand and pulled me onto the dance floor. We danced and smiled and after the dance the lights went out, and everyone screamed in terror. Harry and the others took out their swords and Harry pulled me behind him. His guards stood their ground as the lights came back on and somebody made a dark laugh, as we all turned to the right and then the left. "Get the queens to the safety room! Now!" Harry yelled as the guards took me and the other two queens down the hallway as the laugh drew in closer. "Come out and fight like a man you coward!" Harry growled angrily. The guard opened a secret door and all three of us ran inside and the guard locked the door from the outside and gave me the key. "Show yourself demon!" Niall screamed as they had their swords held up. A shadow ran across the wall and a dark figure landed in front of them. "That's no way to greet a friend Harry." The voice laughed. A single arm tattoo showed in the moonlight as the three gasped. "It can't be!" Niall growled. "What do you want Z?" Harry growled. "I just want to destroy your kingdom, that's all..." Z said as he laughed evilly. "Over my dead body you monster!" Harry yelled as he moved his sword to hit the villain but z waved his hand and Harry's sword slid onto the ground away from him. Harry ran after to retrieve it but backed away, when a snake wiggled towards him, hissing and baring it's fangs. "Not funny Malik! Give me back my sword!" Harry snarled. "I'll have you thrown in the dungeon for this!" He continued. I leaned my head against the door to listen and shrieked in terror as the snake wiggled through the gap in the door and I trapped it with one of the buckets that were on the ground. "There! Now shoo! Be gone vermit!" I cried as I took the bucket and tossed the snake out the window, I felt a sharp pain in my arm, and that's when I realized the snake had bite me! I cried as the other two queens ran to my aid, "hang in there Makayla." Amber said as she held me close. I screamed in pain and Harry heard me rushing to my side. "What happened?" Harry asked. "She got bit by a snake." Amber explained to Harry. Harry growled and then stormed towards Z grabbing his throat as he pressed him against the wall. "Your stupid stunt got my queen hurt! Leave before things get ugly!" Harry snapped as Z disappeared into the darkness as the lights flickered back on and z was nowhere to be found.
