A/N: Sorry for not updating my other stories in a while, I have been quite busy recently but will get back to them ASAP!

"Aaand... here we are!" proclaimed Summer, plonking the bulging trunk down on her bed with a flourish. "Work robes, pointed hat, protective gloves, winter cloak, spellbooks..." May watched as her sister checked off all her equipment excitedly. Neither of them could wait to leave, and it was only a day now. Her mother had insisted that they check everything was packed, but May couldn't be bothered. She could always buy something in the holidays.
Not too long ago, the Hogwarts letter had arrived, as they had known it would. Both had been ecstatic, of course, but it wasn't really a surprise. They came from a family of pure-bloods, so it was only natural. May knew her twin had always been better at magic than her, but she would learn. She was sure of it.
"Are you packed?" Jessica's voice called from downstairs.
"Don't you worry, Jessy! We've got it all sorted!" replied Summer cheerily. Then, in a normal tone, she added, "What house do you think we'll be in, Mimi?"
"Probably Gryffindor? I mean, aren't you supposed to be in the same house as your siblings?"
"Maybe..." mused Summer. "Hey, doesn't that guy Harry Potter go too? Maybe we could get his autograph!"
"Don't be stupid!" her sister replied, laughing and elbowing Summer in the ribs. "He's in the sixth year! He probably has better things to do than talk to people like us!"
"Yeah, I guess that was kinda dumb..." the brown-haired girl giggled sheepishly.
"Anyway, let's go ask Jessy more about Hogwarts!"
They trudged downstairs to pester their older sister with more questions about the school, the houses, the teachers. They wanted to find out as much as they could about where they were going. Meanwhile, their mother dragged the suitcases down the stairs ready for tomorrow.
