Dan's POV
~2009~
"Helloo internet!" I beamed, nervous as ever, as I was in the making of my first ever YouTube video.
"My name is Dan."
I must have tried recording this video about 23 times, as I literally couldn't think of anything to say, even though right next to me I had a little diary with about 7 words on it, also known as 'notes', well, kinda, I guess?
I wasn't backing out of this now though, it had been my dream to become a YouTuber ever since I first started using it really. My main motivation for doing this was my internet friend, Phil; we had been talking for a couple of weeks now, he makes YouTube videos and they always put a smile on my face, and we've also been literally non-stop talking ever since. It's good for me, you know, to have friends, as I don't have that many outside the house, because I'm just unimportant and I'm super awkward, not many people like that kind of thing, but I guess you don't need real friends if you have internet ones, right?
Anyway, yeah I don't really have anything to tell you right now, the only good thing I have is Phil, and of course my family.
But, me and Phil have been wanting to meet up soon, we've called each other, skyped, obviously texted/ messaged, but not met in person, which is one thing I'd love to do, just have a good friend close to me.
High school was the worst, I had like one friend, who eventually I lost because I 'wasn't cool enough' or they were 'embarrassed to be around me' they never said that to me, but I could tell that they were.
Sorry I'm starting to ramble on a lot, it's something I've grown to do. But yeah, great life I have, sat here making shitty YouTube videos, which is most likely that no body will ever watch, but it's worth a try.
I ended the video and switched off my laptop, yes, I was recording on a laptop, I don't have the technology.
I lay on my bed, my eyes slowly closing, as I started to think, hopefully things are going to get better from here, no doubt. Especially if Phil and I meet in the near future, I've gotta speak to him.

Hello guys, yes my story is absolute crap rn, I'm hoping for it to get better, but I dunno I'm a rubbish writer, but you never know, I hop you like it so far, and yes I know not all of it is correct, I just can't be bothered going into serious research about everything, but yeah, I'm gonna continue writing bits every day, so maybe some more up today or tomorrow.
