Mom and Dad

Fuck. It started to rain. As usual Lucas would refuse to share the umbrella.

As we were going home, Lucas dropped his album and sprinted to this really big bus. That had pierce the veil written on it and four familiar faces.

I just stood there, I picked up my brothers album and walked over to the bus because it was starting to really rain hard.

My attempt at opening the door failed twice. Then this man opened the door. I didn't look up because I have slight issues socialising with people. I just started to look at my shoes with mud and he said 'hey, may I help you?' With an soft yet manly voice. 'Ummm uh okay yes umm my st...st..step brother is in here' I said. I started to tremble either from being cold or nervous. He then touched my arm and my arm started to get goosebumps.

He said 'come in please'

I still refused to look up.

I heard my brother say 'Vic, don't let her in here! She's dirty!'

Another man approached the door that said 'jaime and mike took my turtle vic' I had no clue what was up with that. 'Tell them the turtles mom is going to fuck them'.

I wanted to laugh but I held it in my biting my lips.

So i just looked to the side and turned around and slowly walked away. It was difficult for me to walk because I was freezing. I didn't have any jacket on except a sweater which was ripped. Yeah I'm no Gucci or Louis fucking Vuitton. Thank you very much.

I suppose this Vic guy, said nothing but ran towards me and said 'no! Don't mind him, please come in.' I was unaware of how dizzy I was and declined to go in the bus. 'Why? I have warm drinks!' He said smiling.

I gazed in his brown eyes and winked about 15 times hoping I'd go back to reality. But this was reality Rory.

I smiled, shit, I smiled. 'Oh umm Lucas doesn't want me. Ill wait for him here.. So please it's okay'

'Nah, common please I think it's best for you to come in' he insisted.

'Alright' I blushed.

He giggled and looked down as he let go of my arm.

I was walking behind him, taking a hard look at what he was wearing. He was wearing a drop dead tee with beige shorts till the knees with black vans, long curly hair tucked in a cap the other way around...

Being so distracted I fell on a log, I scratched my face. And my outfit got all muddy and dirty. I told myself, shit for sure I can't go in the bus looking like this.

As I was getting up I found Vic running towards me. 'God damn it, are you okay?' He raised my chin and looked at my face. 'Holy shit your bleeding! You got a scratch there.' And he pointed at my cheek bone. It's a good thing the rain slowed down and became calm, because my soggy hair was getting on my nerves.

As he was getting up he grabbed my hand and calmly pulled my up.. I put my arm around his neck and his arm was around my waist. We were walking towards Lucas. Crap.

As we were walking towards the bus I yelled 'STOP!!' I felt Vic jump from surprise. He said ' what happened?!' I grabbed my neck and felt my shirt, I started to have a panic attack and 60 thousand heart attacks all at the same time. I began to cry and run all over the place searching for my necklace. 'MOM!' I yelled roughly 20 times. My mother had given me her necklace she carried since she was born as a good luck charm. Have I lost the only thing that's keeping me alive other than Nadia?

I heard Lucas say 'told you she was insane'

At that time I couldn't take it anymore. Moms necklace lost. My fucking hair all over my face. My muddy outfit. The last thing I needed was Lucas being an ass again.

I walked quickly towards Lucas furious 'Why can't you be a good step brother for once? Huh? WHY?!' As I was getting closer to him I was crying even more and getting mad even more 'BOTH MY PARENTS DIED LUCAS.... The...the last fucking thing I need is you. I...I... I HATE YOU' I collapsed to my knees weeping and looking at the sky. I can feel my tears warm my face and stung my cut and dissolve my blood.

Vic, Lucas, jaime, mike and the turtle guy and the rest of the bus crew looked at me like I was crazy.

I later just stared at my knee, because it was the only opening my jeans had. And whispered to myself 'mother and father'

I got up and made it look like I had dignity.

I wiped off my tears and looked at Lucas with disgust.

The only reaction Lucas had was to walk away like the coward he is. I was left there.
