The man grabbed me up by collar, I pleaded with him not to kill me. For I was terrified. He paused.
He was suddenly confused, he put me down. Then I realized my fault was that I mentioned my death. "How do you know what I am?" he demanded as he pushed me into a room in the back of the tavern.
As he was pushing me into the back room he demanded me to turn around, I abeyed out of fear.
I felt the hilt of his blade ram into my skull in a sudden jolt, I blacked out.I woke in the same room, my head was exploding... I went to feel my wound to tell the damage of the blow, only to find I'm tied to the chair I'm sitting in.
The man walked in, there were no windows, only a lantern. I glared at his reflection in horror.
"What's your name?" he asked calmly. "John" I replied. "What do you want with the Templars?" He continued questioning.
"Government business." I confessed. He looked relieved, I was confused. "I've been waiting for an opportunity to escape this! Once your sworn in, there is no escaping this prison of the Order. My name's James, James Pitcairn."
"Pitcairn? As in the British general in the war?" I asked. "No, I'm his son." James responded.
He cut me free, and helped me up. "if you plan to take down the Order, you can't do it alone. I offer my services to you." He implied. I answered yes eagerly.
