Late nights

Jacks POV

I decided to ignore the thoughts rushing through my head and just go talk to her. I tapped her shoulder and smiled a bit "um is this seat taken?" I asked politely. She shook her head and smiled "no but you're welcome to sit" she looked back at him. I sat down and nodded as I watched her zone out from time to time. I cleared my throat trying not to be the awkward person I am. "Are you new around town?". She shook her head, but this time making eye contact with me "no I'm just here for vacation which is so far a boring thing." I don't know what it was but something about her eyes made my cheeks heat up. I nodded and wrote down my number as I heard another worker yell my name. "I noticed your name is Alex so um just text me and I'll show you around" I watched her nod at me and ran back towards the counter. I would glance at her every once in a while until she left. I sighed softly watching the clock on my break time while waiting for my phone to light up from a message
