Chapter 1: My Story
My name is Kendall Pierce and from the time that I was a little girl I knew I could talk to the dead. My friends call me crazy till they see what I can do for themselves. I know it sounds like I'm the "Ghost Whisperer" like the show but I'm not. I just help the ghost with they're problems or unfinished business as my dad would call it, not cross them over. Honestly rather have the ghost here to comfort me. I started seeing my ancesters when I was real little. My mom thought I was kidding because I was only a kid when I told her, but when years went by and my "gift" didn't go away she knew that I wasn't joking. My gift is my life and helping the dead is a heart warming pleasure.My dad died when I was only 2 years old in a car accident and ever since then i have seen him. That's where the whole seeing the dead thing started taking place. You see my dad had the same gift as me and we both had the same gift as my grandfather had. If you can't tell the gift runs in the family. My grandmother always told me that neither my grandfather or my father appericiated the gift, but unlike them I appsolutely love it. I think seeing ghost is a way of showing that the dead are truly alive.Ghost sometimes don't understand why they died, I help them figure it out and also help them communicate with their love ones. You see, ghost are here you just can't hear or see them. My friends call me "The Whisperer". I don't mind the name but my mother appsolutely hates it. Ghost come up to me everyday needing help in someway and I'm greatful to help. My best friend, Justin, and I have the same gift. He's a huge help.But anyways... As I said my name is Kendall Pierce and I am the daughter of Luke and Layla Pierce. My dad died when I was little, so I live with my mother. I'm an only child and I'm 16, I just got my driver's license. My boyfriend's name is Tyler Kent and he's an awesome person, but it's hard to see the dead and have a boyfriend that doesn't but I manage. He's sweet and kind like every guy should be. My best friend, Justin Perez, is just like Tyler in every way but as I said earlier he can see the dead as well. He's the bestest friend anyone could ever have. If you ever need me 9 out of 10 times I'm with one of them and sometimes even both. Never estimate the power of friendship.
