Some people thinks Spongebob is gay because of his and Patrick's best best friend thing. And how much Spongebob tried being friends with Squidward. But Spongebob is not gay. I can tell because:
1: He really does have a crush on Sandy (In a short he gave her flowers and a letter calling her "pretty" and he tried to marry her)
2: He thinks his spatula's a girl and named it Fee-Fee.
3: He always plans on being a girl in pretending when needed.
Spongebob always likes playing a girl part. When he and Patrick pretend to be parents, he wanted to be the mother BECAUSE he wears a shirt. And also why he's not gay because in the episode where they took care of a baby clam, they didn't sleep in the same bed. Instead they slept in bunk beds. People thinks Spongebob is gay because he said he likes Squidward. That's not gay! That just proves that he likes Squidward like he likes Patrick in friends.
