(prologue)

Hey my name is Addison but my friends call me Ace. 5 years ago when I was 14 something terrible happened something that change humanity, something that changed the world. Me and my friends call them "Shrieks" we call them that because.....well that in general they shriek. These things not only shriek but they can run very fast they love the taste of human and animal flesh and if you by any chance get bit by one or get any of their bodily fluid inside you will transition, you can try to cut that limb off so you don't transition but if you can't.....well then.... your fucked! Oh I didn't describe them did I? OK well shrieks were once human so they resemble humans but they are much more boney, their skin turns to a light ash grey shade, and the white part of their eyes change to a blood red and then a new row of sharper teeth emerge from behind your regular teeth. Before the world was totally fucked over by these assholes the news mentioned that it all started because someone spray some type of chemical from a crop duster over a small town. The stages of the transition are: you start feeling quite light headed, then start getting very thirst, then very hungry, your eyes start changing from white to red, you start loosing weight and finally your skin starts to Changing to a light ash grey color and you are still hungry and ver thirsty through all of these processes. Its horrific yeah I know I had to kill my own mother because she changed into one.
