The Escaped Princess

'It's so cold, it's so lonely, it's so scary, it's...so sad' My name is Roxie Kuran, I have lived most of my life in the darkness, unloved, unwanted. My family never let me outside, they said a monster like me should never see the light, that I should stay in the darkness.'When did all of this start, well it started from my birth.' I was just a baby but, Juri-sama saw in my left eye, my eye had a tint of blue, the blue of death, the blue of my uncle, Rido Kuran. They said to throw me out because they said I was a cursed girl with the eye of their enemy. The only ones who cared for me were the servants. They were the only ones who took care of me , who educated me, who loved me. They weren't the only ones, my cousin Senri and uncle Rido would come visit me in private. Rido would look at me and Senri playing with his toys since I didn't have any, Rido would always make fun of us that in the future we'd become a couple, it always would make Senri and I blush. Over all They were people who loved me and cared for me. My thought of my own family is that they were corrupt and selfish bastards, but even though they never loved me, I still loved them.

Present Day, Roxie's P.O.V

I was in my cell, waiting for uncle Rido and Senri to tell them goodbye. Rido came, but not Senri."Hello Rido, um today I'll be leaving so could you tell Senri that I said goodbye.""Have you had enough of them that you have to leave? You know I could end them for you, besides it's what I was here for" Rido smirks making my spine tingle."Why would you, please don't.""I'm sorry dear but, it is fate for them." I was shocked I had to do something."T-then I-i'll stop you." I say as I try stop him from leaving. With that Rido teleports.'Not good I have to protect them!' I go out of my cell to find Yuki crying in the living room."Okaa-san, otou-san, onii-chan where are you, I smell a lot of blood!""Yuki..." I walk up to her and embrace her, erasing her memories, turning her human. Just then Juri-sama came."What are you doing to my daughter!""I erased her memories turning her to human." I simply said."Why would you do this, even though everything that we-" I cut her off."Isn't that what families do for each other. Now no complaining Juri-sama, just rest, I will protect you all..." I say hypnotizing her, making her lie on the couch, I drag Yuki on another couch and went outside where I smelled blood. I sense Rido near, I come outside to see Kaname-oniisama and Haruka-sama fighting Rido. Kaname-oniisama looked towards my direction."Roxie what are you doing out here! Go back inside!" I didn't listen. Everyone's eyes were on me, Haruka-sama's expression was shocked to see me outside. I start walking towards Rido standing in between Haruka-sama and my uncle Rido."Rido stop, please. I don't want this! If you intend to continue I won't hesitate to kill you!""Roxie my dear, aren't you tired of your family by now. Why don't you join me." He opens his arms wide for me. I knew he would kill my family if I joined him,so I had a plan to kill him. I started to walk up to him, going to his embraced when Haruka-sama hugged me from behind."Stop please don't go!" I whisper into his ear of what I was about to do so that no one heard me. His expression was shocked as I get loose from his grip, I froze both Haruka-sama and Kaname-oniisama in place so that they don't disrupt me. I walked into Rido's arms as he hugs me, in his hug I summoned a sword, a sword that can not completely kill vampires, but leaves them enough years to regenerate, I'd say probably 8 years from now. I slashed Rido enough for him to revive, until that day comes, I will no longer be here, I use my last remaining power to blast him away. I start to walk away from the mansion until nobody could see me, I unfreeze Haruka-sama and Kaname-oniisama for them to start walking in the direction of the building to see Juri-sama awake with Yuki on her lap. I watch from afar so to not let them see me, I stared down at them to see them sobbing. I will never return, back to the lives of these selfish beasts, but. I will never hate them, in fact. I still love them. I walk away into the harsh cold blizzard, going anywhere. I felt free!
