Parker was your average hard-working grade ten student. He'd started a lawn mowing business a few years back and earned a steady stream of income from it. Parker was about 5'7, and had short brown hair. He only weighed around 118 lbs, but he was in peak physical condition. Parker went to a small school, Master's College, not to be confused with an actual college. His grade only had around 40 students, 11 of which were in his outdoor ed. class. Parker wasn't a huge fan of outdoor education, but he was excited for the field trip that they go on once every semester. It almost makes all of the boring assignments worth it. Today was the day of that field trip. 11 students and one teacher. Parker brushed his teeth, threw on some appropriate hiking gear, and was headed down the stairs when he was stopped by his mother.

"Parker, do you need any help packing?" his mother asked.

"No thanks mom, I think I've got it covered." Parker grabbed his hiking backpack and slung it over his shoulder, slipped on his pair of hiking boots, and then headed out the garage door where his father was waiting for him. As the car rolled out onto the road Parker waved goodbye to his mother.

Upon arriving at school his father dropped him off outside at one of the school's "muster points". Parker was the last person in his class of 11 to arrive. Mr. Freeman, the outdoor ed. teacher, began counting heads, making sure that everyone was there before loading up into the school bus. Master's College didn't have a normal school bus though, they had half school bus, still yellow, just shorter. Once all of the heads were counted Parker and his friend John headed inside the bus. John wasn't really the outdoorsy type, he was about 5'8 and weighed roughly 135 lbs. He had mid-length dirty blonde hair. Parker and him grabbed a seat near the middle of the bus. Mr. Freeman then got inside, sat himself down in the driver's seat, turned the key in the ignition, and the bus started up. The trip had begun.

During the trip Parker began looking around. As much as he loved soccer he couldn't talk about it for the entire hour and a half long bus ride. So, as John continued to talk, Parker began to tune him out. As he did he looked around at everyone on the bus.

There was Julián, the 5'6 Spanish kid, who also had a love of soccer. This was enough to make them friends, but Julián was a little bit too weird for them to be anything more than that, it also didn't help that Julián was full of shit more than half the time, and was always doing strange things to attract the attention of the girls.

As Parker continued to look around at the people on the bus his eyes set on Hiro. Hiro was around 5'9 and weighed around 160 lbs. He wasn't overweight by any means, he was just solid. Parker and Hiro didn't speak much, but when they did their interactions weren't hostile. Parker would occasionally make jokes at Hiro's expense, but they were lighthearted and both of them knew they weren't serious. Hiro was one of the smarter kids in the Grade ten class, but that could partly be attributed to the fact that he actually did his homework. He was right up there with Parker in terms of intelligence and smarts. He was also the guy to count on to have your back, or to make a rough situation funny. Just now he was eating breakfast with his shiny, metal fork.

Parker continued to look around, this time his eyes set on a girl. Her name was Anika. Anika was the tallest girl in the class, she was 5'11, 140 lbs. and was of Romanian descent. Parker didn't have anything against Anika, for she was your typical kindhearted straight A student, who had mastered the English language better than almost anyone. But even he could acknowledge that she was a bit of a brown-noser, a teacher's pet if you will. And nobody knew nor disliked this more than Zack.

Zack was listening to songs on his iPhone, earbuds in, just doing his own thing. Zack was one of those guys that you either really like, really hate, or that you just don't know. Zack is 6'0 tall and weighs 170 lbs, but rather than fat he's considered stocky. He's rather quiet, but if he has something to say, he'll say it. He was a very judgemental person. He was also a bit of a narcissist. He highly disliked two people on the trip, Anika and Julián, both for different reasons. Julián always annoyed him with how childish he was, always wrestling with other guys for attention. As for Anika, he was more annoyed with the idea of her. Zack was the only one in the class who had a better grasp of the English language than she did, but Zack never utilized this potential, slacked off, and had to watch her win the award each year. Parker had actually known Zack the longest and they had a mutual respect for one another.
