Something was shaking me. "Ugh five more minutes..." I mumbled but with my face stuffed into my pillow it probably sounded something along the lines of, "mmmhhuggghhhhh..."
"Wakey wakey eggs and breaky!" a shrill voice screamed, promptly turning me deaf. I flipped over and cracked open my eyes and almost got a heart attack. A pair of blue eyes stared into mine and I jumped up, fully awake.
"Candace! Don't do that!" I chided, calming down a little. Candace giggled and slid off my bed. She was washed up already, with her blonde hair tied up neatly into a ponytail and the school jacket hanging off her shoulders.
"Come on Blair!" she pulled me up- that girl had some muscle- and shoved me into the direction of the bathroom. "School starts in about an hour and we have to get you signed in and ready!" I sighed and shuffled into the bathroom.

Candace and I were walking to the Study Block, which was right next to our dorms. She was yapping excitedly about something irrelevant while I scanned the school.
There were some students hanging around the lockers and the whole place looked spotless and clean. So clean that one could have a full meal including dessert right off the floors. "Locker 17A, Blair! Mine's right down the hall to your left so you know... you could holler if you need something!" Candace steered me into a bright red locker. "Okay thanks!" I managed another small smile before Candace skipped away to her own locker.
I set the combination and the locker sprung open. Then I proceeded to empty out my bag into the locker. The hallways were still kind of empty- well school didn't start until eight and it was currently seven. Once I was done with the locker business, I strolled down the hall to find Candace. As you could guess, I certainly wasn't one to holler.
Candace was standing at her locker with a small group of students standing around her. She glanced up and saw me, eyes lighting up, "Hey guys! This is Blair! She's new here!" I waved awkwardly at the five pairs of eyes staring at me curiously. I made out two guys and three girls in that little clique. Candace grabbed my arm and pulled me into the circle. "This is Yasmin, Tori, Louis, Jillian and Ross!" she gestured to each of them as they said their little hellos.
Yasmin had that exotic look about her, with long, dark hair reaching down to her waist and even darker brown eyes. Tori and Jillian were matching not-so-red-but-still-redheads only Tori had green eyes while Jillian had brown ones. Louis was muscular with shaggy black hair and kind brown eyes while Ross had tanned skin, russet coloured hair and dark eyes.
From what I gathered, the guys were all jocks and the girls were cheerleaders. Great, the very first friends I made and they were the exact same kind I wanted to avoid making.
As we stood at the empty hallway chatting for an hour, I realised that they weren't so bad and that I enjoyed me time with them.
BUZZBUZZBUZZBUZZ ( I don't know that sound school bells make and how to describe them )
"Ah crud, I'm having Ms. Watts now. I better go before she throws a fit and starts accusing us of truancy or something stupid like that," Louis ran a hair through his jet black hair before motioning to Ross and Tori. "Okay bye guys!" Candace wavedhappily. I swear that girl was so positive that she put unicorns to shame.
Jillian leaned over and took a good look at the schedule in my hand. "Good we both have Mr. Premchand now! Let's go together, shall we?" Candace shot me an assuring smile before making her way to whatever class she has. "Sure," I smiled at Jillian.

"Kids! Do not wait for the motorcycle to be a car! Be the motorcycle! Feeel the motorcycle!"
Gosh. That teacher has issues. He should see a doctor about that. Class had just ended and it was... a unique experience. One that I would rather not go through again. I was about to ask Jillian about my classes when-
"OMG!!! ITS LLOYD AND JENNIFER LAWRENCE- I mean Blake, yeah Blake totally. Totes... uh... hey look a flying piano!"
