Sure, life is a story- you should make yours the best seller... fact is, not all the books ever written reach that point. What happens to the rest? Do they get destroyed? Never...
Maybe they will be disliked, but the author will have the satisfaction of having written a book in the first place. And remember, no matter how horrible a book might be, it will always have readers; just that the number of readers varies. Who cares, by the way... end of the day, the happiness of the author depends solely on himself and how he sees his own book! Not on the readers.
Others read the book for passing time, but remember the author reads the book like it's a treasure. Of course, he will think of editing it, but originality is the essence of a book... and of life! So don't ever worry that your book will never reach the best seller. Your book is your treasure. As long as you write in the way you like it, trying not to please others, your book has already reached its ultimate goal- providing its author the satisfaction of pure joy.
