Gaara finding his path

"Gaara... Temari told me everything." Sonya said as Gaara locked his door.

"Go away I want to be alone!" Gaara screamed through his door. "Ami... I wanted her. She is hurting!" Gaara said as he began tearing up.

"Go to her Gaara! I want you happy! I do not need you.. She does!" Sonya yelled.

"But.. The arangement." Gaara said weakly.

"I do not love you. Just leave Suna and never return. I will distract the elders. Go!" Sonya yelled as she stormed off to the elders.

"Thank you..." Gaara said as he packed his bags. When he was packed he jumped out of his window and left a note. "Transportation jutsu." Gaara said and he arrived in Tsunade's office. "Hokage sama... I want to become a citizen please. I deserted Suna." Gaara said to Tsunade. She got wide eyed and frowned her brow.

"Gaara. Why would yo do that?" she asked. Gaara began wincing in pain.

"Gah because Ami needs me. I know she has others but I need her too and we are connected. Everything she feels I do also. Where is she?" Gaara asked while clenching his chest. Tsunade nodded and looked sad. "Is she ok?' Gaara asked.

"Kabuto is her brother and she unknowingly hurt him. She had a breakdown and is basically self destructing." Tsunade said. Gaara began tearing up and nodded. "She is in the waterfall of truth." Tsunade said.

"Ok. I will get there as quickly as I can. By the way can I live here?" Gaara asked. Tsunade nodded and handed

him a headband.

"Go quickly." she said and Gaara nodded and began running.

"Shikaku can you teleport us?" Gaara asked.

"Yes I can. You better make sure you stay." Shikaku said and Gaara nodded. "Teleportation jutsu." Shikaku said. They arrived to the cave and Gaara felt my pain. He ran in and saw me.

"Ami! Stop this." Gaara yelled and I swatted him against the wall and let out a shriek of terror. "Ami let me in! Let me help you." he said in a calm gentle voice.

"Kabuto while she's distracted let's take Madara down." Orochimaru said. Kabuto nodded.

"B.. Brother. He's hurt I hurt him. I am sorry!" I yelled as I began strangling Gaara. "You left me! You abandoned me!" I yelled in Gaara's face. All Gaara did was stand there. He took my hand and pried it off then hugged me tightly restraining my arms. "Let me go! Gaara... Leave me alone!" I screamed but he held me.

"I am sorry. Just let me hold you. Look at my headband. I deserted Suna for you. To be with you. No running away. You are staying here." Gaara said I broke free and levitated to the roof of the cave. My eyes deadlocked onto Gaara.

"Die!" I screamed as I lunged at him.

"Sister stop this. Itachi is dead! He died to protect you. I need my sister come back." Kabuto shouted. I turned to him and my eyes saddened.

"Brother?" I said. Kabuto slit his hand open and the scent of his blood woke me up. "I am sorry." I said and my eyes changed back. "Gaara! You are here! What about your fiancé?" I said and Gaara turned to me and hugged me. He was bleeding from my stab wound that I gave him. "Did I hurt you?" I said touching the wound.

"No. I hurt you." Gaara said as he cried. "I abandoned you. But I am here now. To stay. Look at what Tsunade gave me." Gaara said taking out his headband and placing it into my hand. He collapsed and Kabuto rushed to him and healed his wounds. "See I am living in Konoha now. I need you. You chose me first and I should stay with you." he said as he stood up and hugged me.

"Gaara, are you sure? I need someone who I know will stay. No matter what happens." I said. He got up and put his headband on. "Did you grow your hair longer?" I asked he nodded. "It looks great." I said. Gaara ran his fingers through it.

"I like it better too. By the way. Why have you not showed me your form. I know what you should look like. So show me." Gaara said. I nodded and released my disguise. "Wow. I like you better like that." he said. I shook my hair to let it fall.

"Yeah. Tsunade told me to be in this form from now on." I said. Kabuto came over and hugged me. "I am sorry." I said and he gripped me tighter.

"No, I am. I lost myself and became a bad person. I deserved what you did. It woke me up." he said. Gaara, Sasuke and Orochimaru joined in a hug. "You have a family now. Live happily ok?" Kabuto said. I smiled.

"Itachi died I can bring him back but the shinigami will take allot from me. So I'll need you to come into his domain with me." I said and they all nodded.

"If he tries to take your soul we will get it back." Gaara said. I smiled. Obito appeared and grabbed me from them. He proceeded to kick me and stab me multiple timed and disappeared after dropping me. "Ami!" Gaara yelled rushing to me.

"G.... Gaara..... Save... Itachi..." I said weakly as I passed out.

"No! No no no no... Why! I am alive you bimbos. The shinigami let me out!" Itachi said as he rushed over to me. Gaara punched him and picked me up.

"Release!" Gaara yelled and he carried me away. "I will protect you. Let Obito come. He will regret it." Gaara said.

"Brother? Kabuto.. Where is he and where is my son." I said trying to speak. Gaara put his finger over my mouth.

"They will follow. Rest, you need it." Gaara said as we reached Konoha. Tsunade reached us and stopped.

"What happened! Is she alive?" Tsunade asked I nodded. "She needs and in home physician. Where is her son and brother?" she asked.

"Right here." Kabuto said as Orochimaru nodded. "We will stay with her and Gaara at her house and take care of her. She needs her family at the moment more that ever. Itachi is not permitted. Sasuke also. The shinigami will try to kill her through them." Kabuto said I nodded and so did Gaara. Tsunade nodded too.

"I understand. Any supplies or food send the orders through me. I'll check for poison and you all need to not leave that house unless undyingly required." she said and they all nodded. I winced in pain and cried out.

"Shhh Ami you are safe. Just sleep ok?" Gaara said. He put me down on the bed and began taking off my clothing.

"Gah!! That hurts." I screamed. Gaara nodded and gingerly got my shirt and pants off but left my bra.

"Kabuto come help me. We need sheets." Gaara said. Orochimaru left to get food and Kabuto began using a jutsu that shared our pain. He took all of mine and began stitching my wounds. After he was done he gave me a herb to ease it and gave me back some pain. "Kabuto, thank you for your help. It means allot to me and also her I'm sure." Gaara said and I reached out to Kabuto and put my hand on his cheek because he was tearing up.

"Brother, I will live. You helped me and Gaara. Thank you." I said and Kabuto put his hand on mine. He removed my hand and his to go in the other room to get sheets.

"Here. I'll lift her and you put the sheets down." Kabuto said and Gaara nodded. "Ok let me know if I hurt you by moving you sister." Kabuto said and I rolled my eyes and smiled.
