Anyways, the picture is Athena's necklace if you haven't yet noticed.
10 years later
The slightly cold breeze blew her braided silky white hair, causing loose strands to fall on her face.
Tucking it behind her ear, Athena listened for the familiar sound of a deer as she awaited on a branch, high up in a tree.
Her precious necklace hung from around her neck and gleamed in the small rays of sunlight that had cut through the thick foliage. Her eyes searched through the bushes and tall grass.
Clutching her dagger in her right hand, her ears perked up to the familiar sounds of the deer and one corner of her mouth quirked up in a smirk.
'Found you.' She thought victoriously. Without effort, Athena leaped to a nearby branch and continued to swiftly jump from tree to tree until her eyes landed on her prey.
Without a moments hesitation, she leaped forwards and dived towards her target. Landing on it's back perfectly, she struck the blade into the animal's throat, instantly ending its life.
Athena got off the animal and proceeded to take out a rope from her satchel, tying one end around the animal's legs.
Sheathing her weapon, she held onto the other end of the rope and continued to pull the large animal back to the house. Upon reaching the destination, Athena noticed her Uncle had just finished cutting some wood for the chimney fire.
With one last heave, she set the animal down; sweat rolling down her temples. "That's a big one you caught there." Her Uncle whistled, impressed. "Next time, it's your turn." Athena pants.
"Oh, don't be like that. I'm sure my little niece would not want her dear old uncle to do such a tiring job while he's so fragile, right?" Her Uncle joked, releasing a deep, hearty laugh.
The response he received were crossed arms and a raised eyebrow. "Fine. Next time I'll do it." He sighs in defeat. "Good. Now, I'm going to take a bath." Athena said, stretching her slightly tense muscles.
"Oh Athena, after that, would you be so kind as to go to the market and fetch the ingredients for dinner? I need to do some...work." Her Uncle's eyes pleaded with her.
This time it was her sighing in defeat, knowing what he meant by 'work'. "Sure...old man." She smirked.
"Wha--" Her Uncle's look of disbelief caused Athena to burst out laughing. "I'm not that old!" He exclaimed. "Sure, sure. Whatever you say." She grinned, waving him off as she entered the house.
Rushing to the bathroom, Athena took a brisk hot shower to relax her stiff muscles. After doing all the necessities, she decided on a plain navy blue gown that had a black, tight waistband.
Quickly but messily, she tied her long, still-slightly-damp hair into a braid and wrapped it around into a bun.
Throwing on a midnight colored cloak, she lifted up the hood that completely shadowed her eyes and hair; knowing that, still after all these years, her identity and whereabouts was still to be kept hidden.
Of course she had tried asking her Uncle why, but she received the same response repetitively, 'You will find out one day.' She knew it was a sensitive subject as it always caused unwanted memories of her parent's death.
